RUD5750DB2 Roper Dishwasher - Instructions

Just took old panel off and went side to side and then slide panel under front trim. Of course it was easier because the bottom door trim was off and now I have to find that replacement part. Not having any luck with that!

Reassembled lower access covers using the new screws purchased from parts direct, perfect fit replacement. Hardest part remembering how they fit Dishwasher.

Kit didn't have the center conical piece. Easy to switch tho. I am impressed at the speed of which the part arrived.

After getting the pump and motor off of the dishwasher, I used a screwdriver and small hammer to break the impeller off of the motor shaft. The shaft was corroded and pitted real bad but this doesn't matter because the shaft of the impeller actually goes through the seal. Our local repair man told us it couldn't be repaired and we needed a new dishwasher. I had the parts from Part Select in 2 days. The parts were less than $35 dollars and repair very simple. The person on your comment section on how to fix it that said to break the old impeller off of the shaft made the job very simple.

Both springs (8066018 and 3368999) were replaced as recommended in your troubleshooting guide, but did not resolve the problem. Finally the Dual Motor, 3374501, was replaced. During the above, the plastic face of the door fell off, which created a nuisance task before proceeding to fix the original problem. However, while replacing the ... Read more motor, I realized the purpose of the two, T-shaped studs sticking out of the motor. It is absolutely necessary that these sit inside the slots which engages the sliding plastic cover, which is spring loaded, in order to engage the release of the soap dispenser door. It was truly a learning experience, but I got it done.

As described with instructions, removed original "bearing," installed replacement, removed original spring, installed replacement springs. Not difficult.

Snapped on the rollers, removed the center part from the old rack that sprays the water and snapped it on the new one. We then bent the back row down so it would acomodate my larger items. My old rack had that feature. You could either have the rack up or down. Now l

I removed the three screws holding the motor on the housing. Then I took the two hoses off and from inside the washer I unscrewed the ring at the base of the wand that holds the housing in place and removed it. THERE WERE NO INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED, COULDN'T FIGURE 0UT HOW TO INSTALL THE NEW ROLLERS ON THE NEW RACK FINALLY INSTALLED THE OLD ROLLERS ON THE NEW RACK AND THEY WERE MUCH EASIER TO INSTALL I DONT UNDERSTAND
WHY THE NEW ROLLERS WERE THE SAME AS THE OLD ROLLERS
EXCEPT FOR THE COST.

Unscrewed old access panel from dishwasher. Took out insulation and glued to new access panel. Took off bottom panel and placed on new front access panel. New panel fit perfectly on front of dishwasher. Hard part was getting the bottom panel to stay on new front access panel, but hammered it in place protecting the new access panel wi ... Read more th Styrofoam cushion. Took about 45 minutes from start to finish. Used DW-40 around screw holes, because of age of dishwasher and rust setting up over years (22 years old).

the plastic pin that retains the spring has a head on one end that hits a plastic stop on the door to keep it from coming out. I used a small grinder and made a flat spot on the head diameter to make it easy to slide out. This is easier than trying to pry the door off the pin at the two retaing snaps. Once the pin is slid out, it is a matter to hold the new spring holes in line with the pin. rotate pin so flat side you ground is turned up, so pin will not move out that way. Tiij about an hour

Swapped out the old upper dish rack with a new one. A video made the change simple.
