RK960G103 Hotpoint Range - Instructions

I (a woman) unplugged the stove, took out the screws, and unhooked the baking element. I then replaced the old screws with the newer ones, and made sure everything was nice and tight. Unscrewed the broken element from the back of the inside of the oven, then unscrewed the connected wires from the element and did the reverse with the new element. Viola.

When everything was in place, I turned the power back on and turned on the oven and was cooking again. We had Prime Rib for Easter.

Turned breaker off to oven. Removed 2 screws from burned out element in back of oven and pulled it out. Installed new element and tightened the two screws. Very easy.

My oven is 31 years old so was suprised I could still get parts.

Removed 3 screws from cover {center of back side of oven}, removed 2 screws from wires connected to element, then removed 2 screws mounting element
{inside oven}, pulled it & replaced it.

Part was in stock, delivered in two day, Wow!!
First shut off power to the oven, the removed the two screws that held the element in place, pulled the old one out and disconnected it and put the other right back in. took less than 1/2 hour.
Very satisfied with product , easy of repair and especially the price and delivery.

Removed the two screws holding the mount and then reattached the two wires to the element.

First turned power off for oven circuit at the breaker box then removed two screws that hold element in place. Pulled element out, tested for current, then removed two screws holding wires to element. Took old element from oven and inserted new element. Turned the circuit breaker back on then checked to ensure the oven was working.

1. Turned the electricity off at the fuse box.
2. Took out the two metal screws holding the element to the oven back.
3. Unscrewed the screws holding the element coil, pulled the element out some and disconnected the two wires.
4. Replaced the old element with the new one.

Removed the broken one by disconnecting the two screws , yellow and red wires and replacing it with the new part you sent me. Very simple.

It was quite easy. We first turned the power off at the main power switch. Once the power was off, we removed the two screws that fastened the metal plate in the back. We pulled the old bake element out and removed the two screws that fastened the element to two wires. To fasten the new bake element we simply reversed the procedure.

Turned off breaker, unscrewed holding plate, unscrewed element from electric connection wires, replaced element and screwed all back together, turn on breaker, oven working fine now. E-Z!

First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires and replaced the two wires that hold the element in place. I received the part within about 36 hours after placing order.

Turn circuit breaker off.
Two screws detached the unit.
Another two screws to disconnect the wires. Reversed above operation for installation.
Turn circuit breaker on.
All fixed!

P.S. Shipping was very fast.

Shut the power off to the stove. Removed the screws and pulled the old part out. Replaced with new part from Parts Select.
