RGB745BEA2AD Hotpoint Range - Instructions

I could not get these grates clean, so I called Partselect and they helped me find the model of the same stove that had black grates, drip pans, and burner caps. Unplugged the appliance for safety. Removed two 1/4" screws that held the assembly in place. Carefully removed the wire guard that retains the glass shield. Unscrewed old light bulb and replaced with new part. Reversed the steps after cleaning glass cover.

I had to call for a appointment for repair with GE Appliance because I thought then it . .was something electrical. The technician came out & checked everything out, turned out it was not electrical, The technician went out to his truck got a light bulb from his truck, put it in & it worked. removed grills that pots sit on. Removed metal disc's from flame dispensing positions. Removed old left and right pan units. Placed with new pan units. Put metal disc's back in place. Put grills back in place.

replaced lights in refrigirator and freezer

The grates are slightly smaller then the original Kenmore parts and they slide slightly. I purchased a full set of 4 grates - part number PS244182

parts need to be delivered to do repair, its been over a month. customer service is not taking calls. I have paid for parts I did not receive.

0. As a safety precaution, unplug the range or hit the relevant fuse breaker before you start. You might also want to grab a flashlight. Definitely do not try to do this while the oven is hot.
1. Pinch the wire over the light bulb cap to remove it. This is inside the oven at the back.
2. Pop off the hemispherical glass cap.
... Read more />3. Unscrew the old light bulb, and screw the new light bulb in its place.
4. Put the cap back.
5. Secure the cap by putting the wire back in its slots on the cap.

No tools needed, the cap is just held in place with pressure from the wire.

remove grates and ceramic discs replace old pans with new ones. looks as good as new.

replaced both burner pans

The part that was ordered based on the shamanic wasn't the part that was needed for the repair. It was to short. I took the other screw for the other side and that screw was an inch longer than the screw that was ordered thru your company. I then went too a jar that I placed extra screws, nuts and bolts which l keep in my garage . I found ... Read more a same length screw but a different head and it works perfectly fine. When I ordered the part from your company most of the parts did not have a photo of the part on file, or a description like how long the part is. I still ordered it because it should fit the make and model number that was posted on the shamanic that was showed to me on line.

Easy

Lifter the old items off and replaced them with the new ones.

Turned the wire protector to the side. Turned out the old bulb and replaced it with the new. Turned the wire protector back in place and I'm like new.

Replaced old pans with new pans.
