RF502GH3 Hotpoint Range - Instructions

Pulled out element, plugged in new element. About 5 seconds.

Of course, power off first, then I removed the old one and inserted the new one, make sure everything in right place, then turn on power, simple as 1-2-3.

Installed easily, was most impressed with the speed of delivery and it was the perfect size!!

0. As a safety precaution, unplug the range or hit the relevant fuse breaker before you start. You might also want to grab a flashlight. Definitely do not try to do this while the oven is hot.
1. Pinch the wire over the light bulb cap to remove it. This is inside the oven at the back.

4. Put the cap back.
5. Secure the cap by putting the wire back in its slots on the cap.

No tools needed, the cap is just held in place with pressure from the wire.

I ordered a new drip pan. Piece of cake. Stove looks new again.

Inserted the wires onto the new unit, lifted the unit up a bit to get the correct angle to slide it all back in place, returned the holding screws to position, plugged the stove back in, turned it on and viola - an cheap, easy, satisfying repair job. I followed the instructions from a previous customer posted on your web site. The only tip I would add is make sure you get a snug connection on the element with the connectors on the wires. I ordered the 2 burners that were not working. When I got the burners, I discovered that one of the burners was still working and the wiring under that on had burned out. Replaced drip pans that the apartment Superintendent had in place with the correct drip pans and now cooking is beautiful again! No more uneven cooking on the stove top.

After finding the correct Y-frame, inches and watts in a surface burner, it was easy to just slide in the slots. Tested, and it was perfect. Now it makes all of the other burners look bad. Thanks. Your site was the only one, that I was sure I had the correct part.
