RF431R3 Hotpoint Range - Instructions

After receiving parts, was getting rims unpackaged and removing the old rims, then and installing the new ones. Extremely easy to do. No tools needed

replace trim rings with the new shiny ones I got from parts select. Thank you!

It was quite simple after the part arrived. I actually had forgotten what the connection was because one wire was yellow and one was red. After calling the number that I had to no avail. I went to the computer to ask how to install the part. Installed in little to no time. Feel like a Jill of all trades. Bring on the next problem.

I double checked to make sure I got the right part.I looked at your video and then just did as you suggested. It was a easy fifteen minute job. Thank you for making this so simple to follow along with.

Turn off breaker for unit! Use nut driver to remove old element,and replace

It was so easy to find the correct items on your web site and they arrived in a very timely manner. Perfict fit. Now I know how to get parts when I need them.

The replacement drip bowl and trim ring fit perfectly.

simply lifted the heat coil and slid the rings off and lifted the drip pans off. Vacumed the bottom underneath the old pans. Cleaned the grease off around the stove where the rings sat. First -- and thank goodness I read some of these stories first or I would have forgotten -- I turned off the circuit breaker to the stove.

That was about it. Everything lined up perfectly, and there was nothing more to do except reconnect the new element and throw the breaker back on. It works!

First I turned off the breaker to the stove in the breaker box and then removed the two small screws that hold the element in place. I then carefully pulled the element out about 3 inches and using a 1/4 inch socket, I unscrewed the screws that held the wire on the bake element. There were two wires held in place with 2 small screws. ... Read more I made sure that when I unhooked the wires they did not pull back into the back wall of the stove. I then removed the old element and put the new one in its place, hooked the two wires back up, pushed it back in place and secured it to the back of the wall of the stove with the other two screws. I then turned the power back on and presto, it worked perfectly. Like new again.

Super easy, 1 2 3 steps and your done. Make sure to turn power off, remove two screws off of back plate. Remove two screws on wire connectors. Throw old element away and connect both wires to new element and screw back into place. Turn power back on and start cooking.

Took the broken heating element out of oven. Replaced with new one; which was easy to do.

Turned on oven. It started heating immediately

I took the old element out, compared it to the pictures of the GE replacement elements, identified the correct one and ordered. It came I installed it in 15 minutes and it works just right.
