RB757BB1 Hotpoint Range - Instructions

This installation was for a replacement for one of the burner bowls on the original order. Replacement bowl fits proiperly.

Unplug bad one and plug in new one. Correct install time was about 15 seconds.

I removed the old burner and replaced the new burner and bowls. Works fine now.

Unplug appliance. Unscrew bolts that hold heating element in place. There will be wires that need to be carefully detached from the heads. Take heating element out. Install new one, reattaching wires and bolts in that order. It might be nice to clean the oven a bit while you're in there, as smelling something burning right after a repair ... Read more job can be a bit unsettling! Ha. But it works great, and the fix is incredibly easy. So glad we didn't call a repairman.

took the two screws out that hold it in. gave it a tug ,pulled it through the insulation and pulled the plugs off replaced with new element screwed it back on and good to go. simple if you can handle a screw driver you can do this with a skirt on :)

Slide out burner elements. Remove old burner bowls. Insert new burner bowls and reinstall burner elements.

Shut off power to the range in breaker box used a .025 inch socket to remove two mounting screws pulled forward slowly to disconnect the two wires.Checked for nicks or cracks in wire installed new element restored power done .

(Turn off the Power) Pull stove out, remove the 2 screws that holds switch in place, remove one wire at a time and install on new switch. Slip switch in replace 2 screws. Snap off about 3/4 of the shaft cut down plastic insert for knob, install knob turn on power and it works.

I disconnected the power to the stove and it was very simple, undid the nuts with socket wrench pulled element out and diconnected the wires.I put the new element back in the same way the old one was removed .I am a 70 year old woman.The great part was the element was shipped out vey quickly! great service

I read parts select instructions and i was done in less than 30 minutes. Since 1988, this is the 1st. part that I had to replace. I now have parts select on my favorites list.

slid the range away from wall. disconnect power. removed back,compared switches and marked wires.installed new switch and wires.the adapter for the control knob was a problem it left the knob out futher than original i had to modify the plastic adapter and got it close enought! the most time spent was cleaning up the floor before putting ... Bowls were easy... all that was need was remoal of heating elements and replacement of part. Switch required access to rear of stove; removal of back cover and knob; unscrew switch; transfer wires to new switch and install with two new screws; cut switch shaft and fit adpater (trouble here and instructions were no help)for old knob.
