RB7374J3 Hotpoint Range - Instructions

Turned off power. Removed old broken one installed new one in minutes. Turned power on and tested it out. If this 60 something lady can do it, you can too.

Very easy and simple/ After making sure power supply was off, removed socket screws in back plate of element, slid old element out, attached new element and replaced/tightened socket screws on plate and new element. Power on, oven on .. heated quickly and nicely. Used oven several times since ... no problems.

Simply put the new knob on and it worked perfectly. No tools needed. So glad to locate this website to purchase knobs that fit my range.

Flip the circuit breaker going to oven off, then used a 1/4 inch socket on the mounting flange bolts and the bolt head screws attaching the wires. Identify oven breaker and turn off power before starting. Opened oven door. Removed oven racks. Use 1/4" socket or nut driver to remove the 2 bolts holding heating element mounting bracket at rear base of oven. Then reinstall new element in reverse order of removal. Took all of maybe 15 minutes! Excellent OEM Parts!

My husband first turned the main breaker off to the stove. Pulled the stove away from wall, took off the back plate, unhooked the element and out the new one in!!

popped the new one on!

Unplugged range. Removed old element from back of oven which was held in by two screws. Unscrewed the wires that were attached to old element and screwed them into the new one.

removed 2 nuts holding the element in the oven. removed 2 screws that secured the wires to the element. installed the new element in reverse.

Turned off power. Removed oven racks. Removed the 2 screws that held the element in place. Pulled element out about 3 in. & disconnected 3 wires. First shut off power to the store and used a socket set to remove 2 screws and disconnnect the element. Connected the new element but had to use the old screws as the new ones did not work with my appliance.

I first removed the two hex head screws, pulled the element slowly forward about four to five inches and disconected the two wires on the old element.
I removed the old element and attached the wires to the new element. I then slowly pushed it back into the rear wall of the oven, carefull not to disturb the insulation around the ... No problems so far.

Replacing the part was fairly simple. Do not forget to dis-connect the element from the back.

I removed the old element and replaced it with a new part. It was very simple.

The power was turned off. The elemnt wiring was removed. The new one was installed in reverse order. Power back on and the oven tested just fine.

Had to take back panel off of the inside of the oven to get to the screws to remove the old element and attache the new. Removed the two screws to remove the old, pulled it out unattached the wires and attached the new one.
