After watching the video on your website the repair was a cinch. I would never have attempted doing it if I hadn't seen your video. Thanks for saving us a lot of money.

Very simple. Two small hex shaped screws hold the unit to the back of the stove. Remove those with a small socket wrench. Rachet type makes the job easier. Read more e must be down to rest the element on the bottom of the stove. Replace the push-on wires, push the element back into the holes in the rear of the stove and screw the small hex shaped screws back into the oven wall. The job is done.

I really like my repairman, but prefer to do it myself. PartSelect rocks...reasonable prices, really fast shipping AND online repair videos keep me coming back. Read more luckily, all of the wiring is contained in a raceway that runs along the back of the stove. After removing it to expose the wires, I would recommend doing so instead of trying to pull the wires through as the video shows. In doing so, the terminal connections are readily accessible and it's much easier to remove and install the bake element without having to worry about feeding the wires through at the same time and running the risk of damaging them. Overall, a very simple, quick repair that saved me a $50-75 service call.

Unplugged the stove. Unscrewed the element. opened the rear cover to reach wires. Passed wires through the slot and connected the element. Screwed the element in place. Reinstalled the rear cover. Plugged the stove and pushed it back to place. Tested the oven, it worked.

I turned the power off.Pushed on the terminals,and used a nut driver to secure the element to the oven back wall.Great service.I recieved the part in 24 hours with reg. shipping at a great price,Unbelieveable!!!

Very well, I made a mistake with the model #. So I had to return and reorder .

First I removed the two screws holding the element to the back of the oven. When I pulled the element out I disconnected the two wires and removed the element. I found the serial / part number on the existing part and order from PartSelect. The element arrived two days sooner than expected!! Replacing the element was a bit more difficu ... Read more lt in that I had to pull the stove away from the wall and remove the rear cover in order to pull the wires and element through the insulation in the back of the oven. Four screws held the rear cover, but once those were removed the element easily went into place and the repair was finished. Cleaning behind and under the stove took a few extra minutes but the entire repair only took about 30 minutes, plus the wait time for the part. Two tips, pliers were used to disconnect and reconnect the slip-on connectors. The connectors were pretty tight and reaching to the rear of the oven was difficult to get leverage to pull apart and reconnect. Also, the oven light caused considerable glare on my glasses so I taped the door button controlling the oven light and used a flashlight to see inside. Otherwise, a simple repair. PartSelect had the best price on the element and service and delivery were excellent!

Simply turned off the power (circuit box). Unscrewed the screws holding the element in place and detached the element from the wires. Replaced with the new element and replaced the screws. Turned the power back on. Easy as pie and saved lots of $$!

Turned off circuit breaker for Range. Removed the 2 screws holding element and pulled wires attached to the element through holes. Disconnected the wires and attached new element. Removed two scres that hold element in Place. Pulled out element about 3" and removed wire disconnect. Re-connected new element and re-installed mounting screws. Very easy. Parts were delivered promptly. Great service!!!! Thank you Parts select!!!!! Saved me a trip to Sears to purchas a new element or Stove.

With less than 24 hrs from ordering to delivery, I was making cookies. Installation was quick and painless.

1. Turned breaker to the oven to the off position.
2. Removed screws from back of oven-This was the most difficult part of the entire process!
3. Pull out element about 3", then tugged a little harder to expose the wiring.
4. Unhooked wiring from element.
All of this took about 15 minutes.
When new one arrived ... Read more (less than 48 hours), I did the reverse of the above. This took about 6 minutes replace with new element. Thanks so much!

Remove dthe two screws and removed the element. Put the new element in and replaced the terminals and screws. Partselected is the fastest shippers on the net.

pulled out oven, unplugged power. Removed back cover for element, disconnect old element. Moved to front of oven and removed the two screws that held the old element,removed old element. Installed new element, connect element, installed cover, reconnect power.

After noticing it needed replaced I went to PartSelect, put in model/serial# and order that easy. It was here the next day. The oven was fixed. Now back to baking...thanks PartSelect.
