Removed two screws and take Element out and put new one in.It is very easy to do.

Then you slide the old element toward you several inches and remove the two screws holding the wires that are attached to the old element. To replace, just do everything in reverse. This was so easy to do. First I took the two screws out of the holding plate. Then the element comes out and I took the two screws attaching the wires to each end of the element out. First, we turned off power to the range. We removed the screws holding the element to the back wall of the oven and pulled out the element a few inches. When I told my husband I ordered the part and was going to fix it myself, he laughed and said I might not have ordered the right part for the problem and I should just buy a new stove.
The part was delivered the day before Christmas, just 3 days after I placed the order! I had read the stories of others fixing theirs and gave it ... Read more a shot. It took me longer to find the tools then it did to replace the element!
I took the screws out , pulled the element toward me and disconnected the wires. Put it back the way I found it. Oven heated up in less then 5 minutes!

The first thing I did wrong was order the wrong part. Then later I did find the Model number on the side of the bottom drawer. I reordered the right part and turned off the electrical breaker. Made sure oven was turned off. I used nut driver to remove nuts holding old element to back of oven. gently pulled element out of wall, taking care not to yank because of wires attached to back of element. When snugging the bolts to leads, used pliers to keep leads on the element from bending. carefully replaced wires and rear of element into the space behind oven, and used nut driver to attach the back of element to the back of oven. shut oven and turned on to make sure it worked. it did. I was very pleased with my experience with part select dot com, and will be buying another element soon to replace the one in my other oven! Thank you

This was extremely easy to replace. When I told my mom I would replace it for her, she thought I was crazy. When she saw how easy it was, she finally understood. I had to remove the two screws holding the element in place. I pulled it out about 3 inches and unscrewed one screw for one wire. I didn't want to lose the wire, so I immedi ... Read more ately connected the wire to the new element. I disconnected the second wire and attached it to the new bake element. Then attached the two screws putting the plate back up, securing the element. So easy! Just unscrewing and replacing 4 screws and I was done!! Took less than 10 minutes. I didn't have any real tools available, so I used a small adjustable wrench and it worked fine. The best part was it was so easy we were able to have a working oven in time for Thanksgiving!

Pulled out the bottom drawer of the stove and discovered the plug. So the plug was pulled from the wall socket.

Before this I had sprayed the screws with WD-40 and let it sit for 2 days.

super easy - unpluged stove - unscrewed old element w/nutdriver from back of stove. unwired element - discarded. wired new element (2 wires). secured new element to back of stove. pluged stove back in. works great. Ordered part on Sunday, recieved it on Tuesday- VERY NICE SERVICE

First I read the already posted repair stories to give me confidence I could perform the repair.
Followed their steps -
Removed the two screws holding the plate to the oven.
Pulled out the element.
Removed the two screws holding the wires to the element.
Installed the new element by attaching the two screws (which ... Read more were supplied) to the element.
Reinstalled the plate to the oven.
Tested it and it worked perfectly saving a costly service call.

It was so easy. Just removed the cover and then unscrewed the wires (keep track of which wires go to which side). Do teh reverse to reinstall
