standard procedure, very simple

Did the repair just like the video shows.

After watching the video and ordering the parts and searching for the right size socket (which took most of the time) and finding medical tape as I had no electrical tape I took of the back unhooked the terminals and following the wires to determine which ones needed to be replaced I followed the video instructions on reverse as my son h ... Read more ad spliced new terminal blocks into the old wires I taped each new wire to the one it was replacing and pulled it through the back of the stove and into the front attached the new wires to the new block and pushed the clips on the other end of the wires to the knob boxes. I rolled up the excess wire and taped it securely with medical tape so it wouldn't unravel and be in the way when I reattached the back shield on the stove. After I repeated the process for the second terminal (I had two that kept shorting out) I reassembled the stove plugged it back into the wall and used both burners that night to cook dinner! I have had no problems with those burners since then. Really if you watch the video first and follow the instructions you should have no problems. It is really quite simple if someone hasn't tried to repair the problems without replacing the wires. Splicing new blocks into old wires just doesn't work. If I have this problem again, which I hope I don't, I will be confident in my ability to fix the problem myself. Thank you parts select for repair video and the parts.

after removing element.I order part. part was inserted without problems . It was correct fit. I am now baking again. Thank you the quick services on the order.

Move range out from wall,unplug power supply,remove two screws from back wall of lower oven element unplug two wires,discard burned element.Install new element,plug two wires in,fasten two screws. Done

First I found the model number, but it's parts were under a different number. So I ordered what I thought was the right oven element, but it wasnt right . My husband couldnt get it to fit . Well he finaly found the right part number so we could order the right part. We returned the wrong part and got the right element. It went in per ... Read more fectly and the oven is working just fine now. Remember to always look up the part number you need and then order it.

Removed burners and existing drip bowls and installed new drip bowls and existing burners took approximately 15 minutes

Unplug the range before opening the back panel and removed the wiring connection and replaced with the new one

I was very excited to get them in the mail but waited to install after a clean up but when I finally opened the box I found I only ordered 1 6 inch drip bowl. lol Now that I know they fit when I reorder I am ordering a who new set for later use.

Was a piece of cake removed 2 screws, pulled element out. Pulled the wires ooff the old unit and put them on new unit and screwed it back in.

removed element found a crack and replaced with new one I got from PartSelect.com. with fast fast shipping,thanks you saved me for spendin more money on a new one. it happened on christmas day of course......

The repair was very simple removed old element by removing two screws and disconnecting the element from the wires and reinstalling the new one.

turned electricity off, removed element using a screwdriver had to take the back panel off, attached new element put stove back and tried it out and it worked probably 20 minutes. First we removed the screws inside the oven. Next, the oven backing was removed by unscrewing one side and one bottom bolt which exposed the clips for the burner. The clips were removed from the old burner. The old burner was pulled through the fiberglass protection and out of the oven. The new burner was inserted into the oven and the ... Read more prongs were pushed through the fiberglass protection. The screws inside the oven were reattached. The clips were attached on the outside of the oven. The backing was slid into the right holding piece and the bolts on the left and bottom were attached.
