RB525*P4 Hotpoint Range - Instructions

I turned off the breaker, removed two screws that held the element in place, pulled it out about four inches, disconnected the screws securing the wires to the element. Removed the old element, placed the new one in the oven and reversed the procedure.

I removed the screws holding the element in place. I pulled the element out from the back of the oven about 3" and then disconnected the two wires. I simply removed the 2 mounting screws, pulled the element out a few inches, disconnected the 2 screws holding the wires to the terminals and reversed the order for assembly.

REMEMBER to turn off the breaker at the panel because the wires are still hot even though the oven control itself is off (trust me!!!).

First turned off the circuit that controlled the power to the Stove/Oven.
Then I removed the screws that hold the element in place.
I pulled the element out a few inches and disconnected the wires.
I attached the wires for the new element.
I replaced the screws.
I turned on the circuit.

Removed 2 screws with nutdriver.Pulled element out to expose wiring and disconnect 2 wires also with nutdriver. Reverse process. Unit reaired.

removed the old heating element which had about two screws and two connecting wires and replaced it with the new one. I twas so fast and easy. I thought I was going to need a new Oven!!!!!Thank goodness for your website!!!!!

The repair was pretty easy. I unplugged the stove and took the 2 screws out that secured the element into the back of the stove. I then used a pair of needle nosed pliers to pull the wires off the element that wasn't working and then attached the wires to the new element. It was realatively simple, turned off the power to the oven, removed the bake element , by loosening the two metal screws in the back of the oven, with a nut driver and removing the screws, then pulling the element outward, to expose the two wires ,that were connected to the element, using a nut driver to remove the two screws and a pai ... Installed the new bake element, by connecting the two wires to the element, with the two screws, then pushing the element back in place , attaching the element to the back of the oven, with the two metal screws, finished with the installation, turned power back to the oven , and tested to make sure the oven worked , all done.

Tried contacting GE and no luck, they did not have vintage parts. After searching and locating Partselect, I was able to see a pic of the actual replacement part. I wasn't sure about purchasing online (1st timer) but decided to go for it!

First removed screws then removed burned out element.Replaced with new element and replaced screws and cooked pizza.

Turn off the breaker. Unscrew the element. Remove and replace with new element. Screw it back into place. Turn on the breaker.

That simple, that easy.

First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 2 inches and disconnected the two wires.

I reconnected the two wires to the new element and screwed the new element to the wall of the oven where the element was held in place.

I unscrewed the old burner from the stove, took off the three wire to the heating element marking down where each colored wire went, taped off the exposed wires, ordered the new burner, and waited for it to arrive. When it got here, I installed it, and believe it or not, the new burner works just fine!. End of exciting repair story.
