Socket set
Unplug refrigerator , loosing two screws. Lift ice maker up to remove from position. Disconnect electrical connection. Reverse procedure to install new ice maker.

This refrigerator is less than 2 years old. I have had to replace the ice maker 2 times now. Cheap ass parts! Only one ice maker you can order so just be prepared to replace it yearly!

loosened 2 screws with 1/4 inch nut driver, disconnected electric connection lifted old ice maker out, replaced it with new one hooked up electric plug tightened 2 screws

We love our ice here. I seem to replace the ice makers one to two times a year. Generally the ice cycle gets off for some reason and it starts making loud popping/clicking noises (gear grinding). removed ice maker storage holder and then remove two philip screws and unplugged four pin connector. removed ice maker and installed new one . very easy to do

freezer section remove ice trays ,shelves,unplug ice tray.use 1/4 nut driver remove back panel,use hair dryer thaw ice from evap coil ,unplug tstat remove install new one.plug in ice maker,put back panel back on ,ice maker and shelves plug refridgerator back in

Took off cover, unplugged wires, removed old motor, mounted new motor, remounted new motor and replaced cover.
Now need a new control board for same model.

Evaporator Fan Motor burnt out because fan got stuck in frame wall during transportation

1st Turn off power. Removed freezer racks. Removed access panel to bottom back of freezer. Disconnect the wire harness to fan motor. Use 5/16 nut driver for removing fan motor from support. Removed fan blade from motor and put fan blade on the new fan motor. Bought new fan blades, but new fan blade would not work on new motor. Spring moun

t would fit on new fan blades, so I use the old one. Installed everything in reverse. Put everything back. Place thermometer in freezer. Freezer cooled down to -10F in 10 minutes. Great save on this one because I bought this freezer off of Facebook marketplace. Saved me $250. Good thing I know about fixing refrigeration equipment. Easy day.

Pulled unit away from wall and shut off water and unplugged unit. Installed water valve and reassembled, plugged back in and turned on water and checked for leaks. All good. enoid activate but no water. I have tried to blow thru the tube going to the maker but it seems to be plugged by something. I do not know if there is another valve up there or how to clean it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The first order arrived in a huge box and there was no scew to be found, the box had wholes in it. I was given a refund and told to order again.
The repair did not happen and the set screw which was actually recieved the second time was returned because it was the wrong size.

LOOSENED THE TWO SMALL SCREWS THAT HOLD THE ICE MAKER UP INSIDE THE FREEZER. DISCONNECTED THE WIRING HARNESS. TOOK THE OLD ICE MAKER OUT AND JUST INSTALLED THE NEW ONE IN REVERSE ORDER. LATER THAT DAY I HAD FRESH ICE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN WEEKS!

was very easy. just ordered a new ice maker which was delivered in a few days. The installation was so simple. Just plugged the new ice maker in and hung the unit on the 2 screws. And then tightened the screws with a 1/4 in nut driver.
