I removed the element and then the drain pan and replaced with the new correct pans. I replaced the element and all was well.

TURNED OFF POWER TO STOVE Removed 5 Knobs, 2 screws that held bad switch.
Removed 4 screws and lifted panel up and forward to expose switches. Adjusted spring tension on knob stem to hold knob ( stem in new switch slightly smaller) removed wire from defective switch one at a time and fastened to new switch in sequence. Re assembled and turned power on. Defective switch had stuck contacts making it full hot.

Loose terminal caused block to overheat and break

Removed all terminals and block mounting screws. Repaired one burnt terminal and reassembled. Replacement part was an exact fit and reassembly whnet very well.

Oven wouldn't heat

I disconnected the oven power, then removed the two screws that hold the element in place, then I pulled the old element out, and connected the new element to the two wires, and reinstalled the two screws. PartSelect provides easy part selection, very quick delivery, and is my first choice for hard to find parts. I have used them in the p ast and am always pleased with the service/price they provide.

Bake element broke in two THANKSGIVING Morining

My husband simply unscrewed the screws on each side and put on the new bake element. Just need to remember to UNPLUG the stove as he had a few sparks at first . . . other than that, it was simple. Thanks!!!

Replaced drip pan. Notch did not want to match the burner notch. Was a close fit bit with a little pressure made it work.

Burner ceramic disintegrated & spalled

Pulled buner element out of socket as you would for detailed cleaning. Replaced burner element & drip pan with OEM parts. Fit was perfect, tested burner on all heat ranges, good as new.
