Took front off and put the new belt on. Then put the front back on. At my Age 70 yrs did good and saved $124.00 Which I paid that 9 months ago.

Washer would flood out the floor now and then

One day the washer would spill water out on the floor then it would be fine for a week and do it again.Finally it broke,i ordered the new drain pump and installed it in just a few minutes,Hose clamps were a pain,it works just fine now,I would say replace the clamps while you are doing this ,it would make it much easier .Hope this helps !

I removed the back cover after disconnecting the electric and shutting off the water. I then proceeded to disconnect the water lines and then removed the water inlet valve by removing the two screws holding it in place. Then I used pliers to remove the hose leading to the washer. before you buy any parts do this first..turn on your washing machine,then push and hold start and pause at the same time.An error code will come up,look in your book and see what that code represents. Mine came up 47.that error for my machine was the door switch.

The washer lid lock was burned

UNPLUG APPLIANCE....very simple installation. Raise THE top and the switch is in the corner. Unplug the wiring harness and remove the 2 screws that hold the lid lock on. Reverse the procedure and replace the lid lock.

I turned off water valves. I then unplugged the AC. I took the 4 screws out on the back end of the top cover of the washer. I removed the two water lines from the water inlet vales and the two electrical connectors. I then removed the two screws holding the water valve assembly and it came out easy. Following the easy instructions on PartSelect's website, I first removed the screws from the bottom, front of the washer. Then, using the putty knife, I unhooked the clips holding the washer top to the front and pulled off the front. I pushed in the belt wheel and removed the old belt, which was being held on by one strand. Then, I put on

the new belt, put the front back on, replaced the screws and then pushed the washer lid back down over the clips. It worked perfectly and took less than 15 minutes and cost me next to nothing. Thanks for a great site!
