Switch
Part #089100303004
This item is sourced from the original manufacturer. It is an authentic part used in Ridgid compound miter saws. It is designed to control on/off function of a saw. To start the tool, depress switch interlock button with right thumb or palm of either hand and then squeeze the trigger. Release the trigger to stop the miter saw. Install padlock through the hole in the trigger to prevent unauthorized use. Mechanical switches tend to break with time, eventually requiring replacement. Please note the actuator switch/button is sold separately. To replace this switch you will need a Phillips head screwdriver. • First make sure to unplug the saw • Remove screws from the handle/housing • Separate two (2) halves of the housing • Disconnect wires and the button from the switch • Remove old switch and secure new one in place • Reassemble in reverse order and test the equipment
