Our refrigerator door shelf retainer had broken on the side which basically put one shelf out of commission in our fridge. I looked up our fridge on partselect and found the correct retainer and ordered it. The part came very quickly, within just a few days. If fit perfectly and I'm very happy with the part, the speed of delivery, and ease of ordering. I will definitely use partselect again.

I called in because the model # of the refrigerator did not show up on the website. The cust. srvc. rep looked it up and found the part. It was reasonably priced, I received it in a matter of days and it fit perfectly. Thank you! We were preparing to put the condo on the market and broke the shelf while cleaning. It was great to have a resource for a reasonably priced replacement and quick shipment.

Fridge made a hellacious noise and wasn't cooling well

  • Bruce from MARTINEZ, CA

  • Nutdriver
From discussions with friends, I determined the problem might be easy to fix. The fridge made a lot of noise, but the compressor DID come on, and inside the freezer was cold, but the main fridge was warming.

After unplugging the fridge, I removed the fan assembly in the freezer (there were about 4 nuts and a couple of plugs to uncouple.

I could see right away the fan blades has broken off, but the motor looked good. The new new fan pushed easily onto the shift and fit perfectly in the housing.

I reinstalled the fan assembly, plugged in the fridge, and right away heard the new fan come on - very quietly. What was a roar became a whisper and the fridge was down to 38 degrees with a few hours.

  • Bonnie from SAN ANTONIO, TX
  • Really Easy
  • Less than 15 mins
Easiest way to install was to insert the cover first then insert the glass insert being sure to tilt a little and inert under the shallow lip at the front of the cover. Not a good idea to assemble before inserting in the fridge. When cleaning the refrigerator shelves in the past I took then out of the refrigerator, cleaned them and re-in stalled in the method above. Just was not careful enough removing when I dropped the glass
