Everything worked perfectly---thanks to the suggestion of your call center agent. She suggested that since the replacement door handles were no longer available, I should consider repainting them--it worked like a charm. Please tell her she was a life saver. We rent that house in Fl and my returning tenants had complained about the discol oring refer handles. Thank you

Oven would not warm past 160 degrees
  • Jeremy from Ephrata, PA
  • A Bit Difficult
  • 30 - 60 mins
  • Nutdriver, Screw drivers
Changing out the baking element was fairly easy. Shut off power at breaker. Remove the baking trays and the 2 screws at the bottom of the inside back of the oven. There are 3 screws to remove the element. Slide out the connectors and replace. Additionally, the baking element blowing resulted in a blown relay inside the control unit. Unfor tunately it is an all in one unit that includes the touchpad PCU board as well. To replace it you must remove the upper rear panel off the back of the oven, remove the electrical connectors, remove the 4 screws and the unit. Put the new unit back in and go in reverse. Power up to test.

Baking element needed to be replaces

  • Easy
  • 30 - 60 mins
  • Screw drivers
First, I received the element in two days. My local repair store said it would take them a minimum of 10 days to get the part. My husband replaced the element after watching the youtube "how to" video. He knew exactly what to do and did it in about 30 minutes. We were using the oven the next day. Thanks!

Damaged Socket When Removing Bulb Base
  • Charles from Oceanside, CA
  • A Bit Difficult
  • 30 - 60 mins
  • Pliers, Screw drivers
This is a built-in oven, so the biggest problem was figuring out how to remove it from the cabinet. The solution turned out to be removing the cooktop above it and unscrewing two screws that connected the oven to the inside of the cabinet. The other problem was removing BOTH metal backs from the oven. The first one was easy. The secon d one wasn't. The old socket was recessed behind the second back, making it virtually impossible to access the metal "wings" that hold it in place, so I ended up pulling out the socket assembly from inside the oven with pliers.

The range in my classroom had the leveling legs broke off by the summer staff. I ordered two new leveling legs and the night custodian replaced them in about 45 minutes and them leveled the stove. Parts were just as stated and easy to order.

The door had been fallen on slightly and the door didn't close properly
  • jimmy from el paso, TX
  • Easy
  • 30 - 60 mins
  • Pliers, Screw drivers
First removed 3 screws from top of door and the 3 bottom screws. To remove hinges there are 2 screws on the bottom ends remove those and then there is 1 in the center of hinge remove slide out old hinges and install new ones. The hinges have to be in the extended position I then put the needle nose pliers on the top end of hinge because th ey kept snapping shut before it engaged with the receptacle I put on one side when it was in I released the plier and it hooked I then proceeded to the opposite side it shouldn't have taken so long once I used the locking plier I was done in 10 minutes.

leg was bent, also metal receiving bracket bent
  • Virginia from Oceanside, CA
  • Really Easy
  • 30 - 60 mins
  • Wrench (Adjustable)
Removed stove from slot in wall. Bent rear left leg would not unscrew due to bent metal bracket. Used hacksaw to cut out leg, then straightened metal bracket with small hammer and was able to screw new leg in and adjust height by using level on stove before reinserting stove its slot. Recheck level after pushing back in place and adju st front legs if necessary. If not for bent metal receiving bracket, would have taken much less time. Still easy tho. R'cvd part in two days. Very quick.

Inner glass oven cracked
  • Christine from Eureka, NV
  • Easy
  • 30 - 60 mins
  • Pliers, Screw drivers
The feedback from other customers was excellent. It does come apart in layers, and it helped me to number each layer with a sticky note as I dismantled it. I also kept the screws for each layer right next to the layer, so that I knew how many screws each layer used. The only thing I can add is that the tabs to remove the innermost glas s from the frame are on one of the shorter sides of the rectangular frame. The tabs are part of the frame, and when you bend them outward the side of the frame detaches and you can replace the glass easily. In addition to the #1 Philips screwdriver, all I needed was a pair of pliers to bend the tabs.
