Cut the old block off tied new wires to hot wires . That easy!

There are two philips head screws in the back wall of the oven to pull. Gently slide the element forward with the attached wires. Pull the terminals off of each side of the element, slide on to new element, push into place, and replace screws. The whole job was done in under 3 minutes.

Since I had the element out I cleaned the stove. That took me 2.5 hours. Used cold spray and let sit for two hours and wipe out clean took about 30 minutes. Read more ast time I had it done by an electoral repair person for the tune of about $100.00. This time I bought the part and did it my self. Cost less than $25.00 including tax and shipping. No brainer.

Unplugged stove, removed screws holding element In place. Pulled element forward exposing electrical ends. Removed connectors, re- connected ends to new element. Pushed element back into holes and reconnected the screws. Plug stove back in.

Remove the old one and replaced the new one. It was very simple, fast, and easy.

All that was needed was to unscrew two screws holding it to the back of the oven and pull it out to get to the wires. Then unhook the wires and install new one. Less than 2 minutes.

open the door take out the racks.unscrew the holding screws for the element,pull it away from the back wall of the oven. take off the wires carefully and reverse the procedure

Just followed the very simple video instructions…it took less than 5 minutes.

Unscrewed 2 screws, used pliers to pull off push on terminals attached to element . Slide terminals back onto new element and replaced screws. EASY

For an electrical appliance, it doesn't get easier then this, this was real easy.

Too dark to see, so left the power on so I cold use the oven light. Big mistake, shorted the fuse at the main box. No power in part of the house until finally figured out how to trip the fuse back on. Lesson learned. Never work on anything electrical without first turning off the power.

Read more start by replacing just the element and see if I got lucky. I did. No need to call expensive repairman.

Took out 2 screws unclipped the part put the new one on and i was done. Very easy fix .. Baked a cake right after to celebrate

We called a local repair shop and they told us that it would take a month to get our part and it would cost over $50 for it. We went online and found PartSelect.com.
