Instruction on how to change dryer light in Maytag model Med6000XG1
For model number MED6000XG1
Hi Gene, thank you for your inquiry. We have found some relevant instructions to help you replace the bulb. They may not be of the exact same model, but they will help you with the installation. You can replace the light bulb by following these steps:
1. Open the door of the dryer so you can see the cover lens that hides the light bulb.
2. Use the screwdriver to take out the screw. Now lift up and take out the lens.
3. Now reach in and unscrew the bulb by turning it counterclockwise.
4. Screw in the bulb by turning it clockwise this time.
5. Install the lens by interlocking it with the screw, and then you can close the door.
We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
