Failure to do so will result in poor heating throughout your range and generally poor performance throughout. To replace this fan motor, you will need a screwdriver and wrench and will need to first disconnect your range from power. Then you can pull the range out from the wall and remove its rear panel. Disconnect the wires connected to the fan motor terminals and remove the securing hardware for the fan motor, which can now be replaced with the new fan motor. Reassemble the rest of the rear panel and connect your range back to power and test the fan motor.

This gasket packing is a replacement sealing material designed to create a tight barrier between surfaces. It is commonly replaced when seals wear out, compress, or no longer prevent leaks.
