Ice maker is making ice and dispensing only cubes. It will not switch to crushed ice.It seams the auger motor needs to reverse to make crushed ice.

Hello Linton, thank you for your question. If the ice storage bin was removed and not properly replaced it could cause the ice maker to not function properly. Try removing and replacing the ice storage bin. Also, it may be necessary to empty the ice storage bin and clean the ice delivery chute, the ice storage bin, and the area beneath the storage bin every 2 weeks. A build up of ice shavings could also cause the dispenser to not function properly. If neither of these things seem to be the issue you have have to replace the auger motor, part number: PS11743528. there is NO power from the refrigerator to the ice maker. the fuse in the wiring harness on the ice maker is good. how do i get power to the ice maker?

If this does not help check the cycling thermostat, part number PS11743313, for continuity. If this does not help, the ice maker, part number PS2121513, is most probably defective.
