LSC27926SB (AWBCLGA) LG Refrigerator - Instructions

Detected noise as coming from top freezer department, and tips and part diagram clearly pointed to evaporator fan. You go in through the freezer (you have to empty top half of freezer); removing the side rails holding the ice bin, and then the 4 outer screws (only 2 each side - not the middle ones) holding the 'auger' that turns the bin ... Read more . From there it gets interesting in trying to disconnect the wires. You might consider taking some pictures of the connected wires - perhaps it doesn't matter, but several of them can be hooked up in reverse. After the ice marker is out, remove light and light cover, side rails/mounts that hold hold up ice maker. This leaves a large white cover that pops out (seam at bottom of it has two tabs that you can pop out) holding the fan; and then only a few more wires to disconnect to be able to get at the fan. Mine clearly had a wobble to it confirming the source of the squeak and need to replace. Install was just reverse -- a bit tricky to get some of the wires connected given the tight spaces. Overall, not difficult - but a lot of wires and screws to connect/disconnect. I didn't take any pictures as I disassembled, and found myself having to take some extra time to figure it out as I reassembled. In the end -- a silent and functioning refrigerator Good luck!

To replace the warped tray, I found the service manual (pg. 124 below) which took some interpreting.
Removed the lever. Then removed the assembly by two screws that are forward to the unit and go upwards.

I replaced solenoid, flapper heated door, and broken spring. Very easy instructions on "YouTube"

Removed old rails and tapped new rails in place. The big problem was finding how to fix the drawer. After searching many online websites, It was my good fortune to find Partselect and a one of their service representatives who
knew how to fix my drawer
and they had the part.

1. Remove the filter - 1 screw at top of filter and pull-out. 2. Use crescent wrench to push down at tube inlet and pull tube out. 3. Remove bottom screen from refrigerator. 4. Use crescent wrench to push down on water inlet and pull out tube. 5. Route new line on back of refrigerator. 6. Install is the reverse of removal. Thanks.

This site was awesome! I was able to very quickly look up my refrigerator model, find the proper part number, and order the part. The only suggestion I would make is to update the cut sheet with a more clear version, it was a little difficult to make out the part number because the scan/drawing was fuzzy, but I was still able to make it ... Take out the screws from the old one, remove the old rail, line up the holes, install the new one, and put back the screws. It's so nice to have a site like this to fine parts and order them! I removed the lower back panel. The difficulty and time consuming part was finding the old parts. They were inside a cover on the side of the motor. The cover was difficult to remove. It slides away from the motor. The terminals on the replacement parts were oriented differently from the original, Like a mirror image. Accordingly, ... Read more I reversed the wires (side to side) and connected them to the replacement parts. The refrigerator is now working fine.

Very easy to replace right and left rail 3 screws on each side

Took off door per normal instructions.
Removed the old stopper and hinge assembly (the hard rubbery parts had worn enough against each other to cause the annoying sound when opening and closing the door).
Inserted the new stopper and hinge assembly.
There was no locking nut on the newer part, so just had to level the fridge ... Read more door without that part of the instructions (from normal LG instructions)
Overall easy for a non-handy person and the annoying sound is gone.
Wife is happier now.

First ,I unplug the refrigerator .
2nd i remove the back cover, clean the dust.
3th disconnect the water line, remove the all valve..
4th unplug all the wires and code ea with a No,remove the water lines
5th replace the valve reconnect the wires and water lines.replace the

Really Easy

Replaced water pump assembly, all compression fittings easy to put together

Removed the cover 2 screws
Squeezed the 2 side sleeves and removed
Snapped in new button, replaced the cover. Done

Water valve replacement at back bottom right. Removed, water supply line and old valve with 1 screw and removed clips from hoses. Replaced with new valve and re-clipped hoses. Easy fix! Cleaned coils and back with blower and vacuum cleaner while I was in there too. I also had leak in water supply line, replaced. Ice trap door replacement ... Read more was a little more challenging. Hard to get off the ice dispenser funnel (Part# 278D). Has 4 lock clips on it and 1 broke when I took it off. This part# 278D is not available from part select?? Tricky to replace the trap door itself. Have to make sure the door valve sits in solenoid correctly. Installed wrong the first time and door would not open/close. Had to go in and reset orrectly. Works like a charm now. Still need part# 278D!!

Removed old part very easily and installed the new part without any problems. Used and adjustable wrench and screwdriver
