Oven does not heat to proper temperature and does not maintain temperature.

This range is 6 years old and I believe the oven igniter quite again this is going to be the 3rd one in 6 years is this normal the range is set up for lp gas

Hi Martin, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, the oven igniter may last 6 to 8 years with normal gas, while with propane gas it may last 3 to 4 years. So, it is normal. The oven igniter for your model is part number PS3535362. We hope this information helps!

Oven doesn’t work at all, I changed the control board but still nothing

Oven doesn’t operate at all
For model number LRG3081ST
Hello Andy, thank you for reaching out. We would recommend making sure that the appliance is receiving proper power. If the problem persists, then you may need to check the control board, part number PS11710554, to solve the problem. A faulty control board can cause the oven to not operate at all. Oven wouldn't ignite
Took off the oven door then took out the racks and two screws in the oven bottom and removed it . Then removed the heat deflector. Then un plugged the old igniter and removed the burner to make it easier to remove the old igniter. Then installed the new igniter and reversed the process

Oven would not light
As soon as my husband put it in the oven, the very thin prongs broke. There was no guard on either side of the prongs for protection like the one that had been in there. melted foil on the base pan in the oven
i removed the oven door by lifting the safety latches on each hinge and gently lifted the door off. once off i could access the 2 large phillips head screws and loosened and removed them. then i simply slid out the old and slid in the new & reversed the process.
