Neither broil or bake element will heat. What to ck other than the elements. Only element used to date is the bake

By far the most common reason you are having this issue is that the elements are faulty and need to be replaced. This Frigidaire Electric Range pre heats very slowly, as long as 30 minutes to get up to 350 degrees. We had a repairman come out to check it and he said everything checked out fine. He said the heating element is not exposed IE under the bottom 'plate' instead of on top on this model. He found no electrical problems and he said the element was fine. Can you tell if he missed something? I paid over $100 for the call and am hesitant to call another repair service to paid another fee for something they can't find. Thanks
Hello Greg, Thank you for the question. We suggest testing the Oven Sensor. Testing the temperature sensor probe on your oven is easy. With the sensor at room temperature, measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. The resistance of the sensor should read approximately 1080 – 1090 ohms at room temperature. We hope this helps!

If the hinges are loose or damaged, they may need to be tightened or replaced.
