L9875XVB Norge Wall Oven - Instructions

Turned off power at breaker box. Removed two screws from the old bake element on rear of oven wall. Pulled out bake element from back of oven so wires were exposed (about 3-4 inches). By hand, removed the wire connector from each side of the element (wiggle it loose).

The part I purchased was exactly as described on the PartS ... Read more elect website (i.e., it had the correct connections - female - on the bake element). The part arrived in 2 days in perfect condition. I definitely will use PartSelect again.

Installed new thermostat. Went well. Now the oven comes on and it takes 2.5 hours to come up to 250 degrees. Help!

First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. That is when I notice that the new element had a female connector and so did my wires comeing out of the stove. I took the old elements male end off (with a grinder). After we got the part in the mail my husband put it on and shortened the wires and put new plugs on the ends of the wires and we had to get a new plug put it on and it was fixed.

The hardest part was deciding if this part would fix the problem. The upper oven became unusable. Both elements worked fine until reaching temperature. The oven would not come back on after that. I took two screws out. Then I pulled the wires out and unsnapped the coupling. The install was reverse. I just snapped the coupling in pla ... Read more ce and replaced the two screws. All works fine now. Saved a couple thousand as wife was prepared to buy a new one.

I removed the old thermostat and replaced it with the new one using the supplied wiring adapter for my model of range. Parts Select made this an easy project. Thanksyou

We took the back off the stove and unscrewed the two screws from the inside holding the sensor on and pulled it through and plugged it in and then replaced the screws. Very easy. We are still having trouble as the display does not read the same as the tempature is in the oven.

removed 2 screws in probe and pulled it out.had to take back off as wire was tangled from factory and couldn't do quick repair

Watching the video of how to replace the sensor was great help and much appreciated, the only difference was that my wires were much shorter and I had to pull the oven out of the cabinet to get to the back of the oven to release the clip holding the wires together, unlike the video where the man jiggled the wires until the clip holding th ... Read more e wires together came through the little slot where the probe is attached, otherwise it was pretty simple, just a few extra steps to pull the oven forward to get to the rear to release the clip holding the wires together. Once I was able to release the clip I used one of the 2 adapters that was sent with the sensor probe and attached them after putting the wires through the hole where the probe was attached first then replaced the 2 screws that holds the sensor in place, slid the oven back in and turned the circuit breaker back on and it works perfectly. The video gave me the confidence to do this job though and I thank PartSelect very much for being a great company to help with videos and sending the parts so quickly.

Disconnected power pulled oven from wall, removed 8 screws from back, unplugged sensor, removed old, attached new, put screws back wow saved me $500. From buying new and $150. For service call

There are five Phillips head screws to remove from the door (2 top, 3 bottom); the only touch part is that there are no screws on the sides, but instead plastic tabs on each side that "latch" inside the door frame; you have to use a flat blade screwdriver to work each tab and press on the door frame to unlatch each tab (yup I broke one, n ... Read more ot knowing the setup the first time, but it went back together OK anyway). Once the tabs are unlatched from the frame, the entire front or the door will come off (be ready for this); then, just a few screws to take off the 2nd inner door glass frame (remove second glass carefully), and your to the inner glass, which just fits within the frame. Then, carefully backwards and the door is together again (once again, provide support as you take the last tab/screw off the outside of the front door, or you'll have more broken parts).

Removed the back of the stove, un-pluged the sensor wires, removed the sensor from inside the oven. installed the new sensor, pluged in the wires, and replaced the back of the stove. A phillips screwdriver was the only tool needed.

Removed two screws holding oven sensor in place. Haad to remove part of the back to access wires. Found existing wires had burnt up, and had to reterminate same. Installed new sensor, making sure the leads did not come in contact with the rear of oven compartment. (This may have been what caused failure to begin with)
