KUDP2 KitchenAid Dishwasher - Instructions

We have a remote cottage in Canada with a dishwasher over 30 years old. Since you have to get there by boat we didn't want to have to get a whole new dishwasher installed. I couldn't believe it. For about $20.00 my dishwasher was fixed by my husband in less than a half hour. It was easy to order the parts from you, they were shipped immediately and worked perfectly. Thank you so much for your help with our dishwasher parts. I was laughed out of Lowe's, Home Depot, Sears and H.H. Gregg when I took my old parts there looking for help with replacement parts. The water inlet valve SEEMED to be the logical choice of the part that went bad. It was! It was a really easy fix. Undo the bottom front of the dishwasher. Shut off the hot water supply. Read more he valve leading TO the inside of the dishwasher (water outlet side of the valve) And remove the electrical plug on the old valve. Only time consuming part was the need to remove the male/female coppper fitting from the old valve, put it on the new one and reattach the hotwater pipe....don't forget the teflon tape on the threads, the elecrtrical plug, the rubber hose and the front of the case . My wife says it runs like new

Manually remove old tube and simply replace with new tube - no tools!

I removed the old, brittle and leaky water delivery tube by hand and at the outlet and at the inlet end, by cutting it away with an exacto knife. I then heated the new tube under hot water and coated each end with dishwasher soap. With only a modest amount of manipulation, both ends slipped easily into place and the hose was immediately ... removed screws from dishwasher and discovered i could replace panel because of door type

first-removed all axles from one side of rack. replace with new ones, replace rollers. repeat for other side of rack. VIOLA!!

I ordered all new axles even though not all of them were broken - I figured it was just a matter of time. Ordered one new roller because one was missing, and an extra one just in case. Removed all old rollers and axles. A couple of them did not want to come off, so I "hit" them with a screwdriver. Put on all new axles and replaced the r ... Read more ollers. The whole project took about 10 minutes. SUPER EASY. CHEAP FIX FOR MY OLD DISHWASHER.

The website had great pictures, I compared the wheels I had and the broken axles with the pictures, and picked what I thought would match. They were perfect. I used pliers to pop the axle on, and my fingers to put on the wheels. It works perfectly now

we used hot water to soften the ends of the tube and then slid it onto the two ends of the parts in the dishwasher. I put a whirlpool tube on my Jen more dishwasher . Fits like a glove.

followed the tutorial video and just removed the old one and the new one slipped right on.

Tranfered wheels from old rack to replacement rack. Silverware caddy was a bit too big for the replacement. I gently bent the prongs on the rack a little and its fits perfect.

I took out the bottom rack, turned it upside down, popped off the wheels and saved them and put on the new axles. It took a little doing to get the new axles snapped into place-they were stiff. I finally figured out how to use the pliers at the right angle to pop them on. Then the wheels popped right on and off I went.

FIrst I shut the water and power off. I took 4 screws off bottom panels of dishwasher. Using pliers I move spring clip of the rubber valve. I disangage the hose and disconnected electrical connection ( two wires ) . Then using two open wrenches ( 3/4" and the other probably 13/16" - not sure ) disconnected the copper tubbing.
