KTM26 Frigidaire Range - Instructions

No major hardware stores had anything close. One visit to you site was all it took. Parts were loose so we removed them and replaced.

Found replacement drip pans at partselect.com.
Ordered them and received them in 2 days.
installed the new ones and all is well.
Had I known it was this easy, I wouldn't have spent countless hours scrubbing the old pans with Brillo pads. Considering how much I spent on oven cleaner, scouring powder and steel wools pads, it ... Read more was lest costly to just buy new ones. (and they look better too).

It was pretty much a plug in. My husband had it done in a few minutes. I want to thank you for your great service with receiving the part.
The oven is working great and now I am back to baking.

Unplugged the oven
Removed racks and bottom plate
Removed two 1/4" fasteners on ignitor
Installed new ignitor with two 1/4" fasteners
Cut each wire on old ignitor one at a time and hook up using included wire nuts
Plug in oven
Test oven
If it works, put it back together

Took the two nuts off that hold the igniter and cut the wires as per directions and used the wire nuts to put them together after I installed the igniter.was a piece of cake and didn't take 15 minutes to do.Oven works great.

Removed 2 screws to oven bottom
Remove one nut that holds gas rail deflector
Removed 2 screws that held Igniterto the fuel rail
Cut 2 wires to the Igniter
attached 2 wires from new Igniter using ceramic wire nuts (Suplied with new part)
Install same as removal

Opened box, popped bubble wrap :) put in drip pans. Was great! Having been looking for the correct ones for a couple of years!

First I removed the two screws that held the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconected the two wires. Take the old element out, and attach the new one. Assemble in reverse order.

First I removed the bottom plate of the oven to get a better view. I then removed the burner plate and the burner. Disconnected the igniter and put in new one it was real simple.

removed the old igniter, installed the new one. 15 minutes, piece o cake!

took the old igniter out and swapped the connectors onto the new one. Kept the connectors close to the connector end to prevent them from being to close to the ovens heat.

From the front I cut the wires going to the old igniter and removed it. Then I stripped insulation back 3/8 of an inch. Using the ceramic wire nuts that came with the new igniter, I connected the new wires to the existing. Then I installed the new igniter and the job was done. Unplug electicity, Take out all inside pans, unscrew the burner arm, disconnect white power wires to the igniter. remover gas buner, detach the igniter and attach the new igniter to the burner arm. re assemble the burner arm, connenct the white wires to the white wires from the oven just below the igniter. cut wires and removed the burner . Removed the ignighter and installed the new with nut driver. slipped the burner back in place and nutted the wires...Wallagh!!! fired right up...
