After checking all connections I determined the ice maker which had been replaced on 01/2007 stopped making ice. I had serviceman from a local company return and check the ice maker. He rinsed the ice maker under warm water, melting the ice build-up and re-installed the ice maker. I watched him do the re-installation, then waited for two ... Read more days to see if the ice maker was functioning. Since the ice maker wasn't working, I called the serviceman, who in turn informed me that the replacement ice maker had increased in price from $170.00 to $274.00. That is when I contacted your web site, ordered the replacement ice maker.
I was totally amazed and pleased by the fast,
easy, and efficient way my order was processed and the ice maker was delivered.
I followed the instructions included with the ice maker, and installed the replacement ice maker in about 20 minutes. I can't thank you enough for the great service. I only wish I had checked my computer after the first ice maker broke down and found your web site.

Used a screw driver to pull old switch. Pulled one wire at a time, only two wires. After wires instlled to new switch push new one back in place where the old one was.

Removed the ice maker. Used a small mirror (wife's make up mirror) to find the screws. Inspected and found most teflon coating missing. Ordered new ice maker and installed. Works perfect.

The nozzle of the water dispenser broke. I ordered the part which arrived the next day. I did not use the white line, only the black. I turned the water off, then I removed the screw under the broken nozzle and cut off it off from the line. I took a new screw and cut off the top with pliers, then twisted half of a screw in the old li ... Read more ne and inserted the other half in the new line and pulled the line from the bottom corner of the refrigerator and connected it to the white line under the grid. Screwed the new nozzle back to the lever, replaced the grid and turned water on.

I simply removed the old switch using 2 small screwdrivers and the old switch case popped out. I then upluged the wires from the old switch and reversed the process. Didn't take longer than 5 minutes begining to end! Thank you for the great service! Duncan quaid

Local service person missed the diagnosis and advised $10,000 new refrigerator. I looked and saw that the switch was deformed and had burn marks. Searched for switch online. Found site Ordered. Part arrived next day. 5 minute job to replace. No tools needed. Refrigerator works great. Thank you t!

1.removed 3 nut screws-2 on top &1 on bottom.
2.unplug ref. from outlet.
3.unplug the wires from ice maker to ref.
4.remove ice maker
5.rinse new ice maker
6.plug ice maker to ref. using included wires
7.screw 2 top nut screws first then the bottom.
8.plug ref. back to outlet

Easy removal. Easy Plug and play install. Didn't even have to use the other wires. After install, put 4 oz of water into ice maker and wait....it didn't start making ice right away, but a couple hours later I heard the wonderful "ice dropping into the bin" sound. Worked great ever since.

took the auger off and baffle replaced the baffle put every thing back together installed back to the freezer tried it out it dont work have to tear into the the motor which works the auger to see if anything else is broke.

Old ice maker was beyond repair.I replace it with a new one.Removal and installation about 30 min.It was nice to know that there was video on line if needed.The ice bin problem was in the crusher,cube feed area.It took me about 30min.to take it apart.And 40min. to put it back together.All part fit and is working prefect.I must say the fee ... remove decorattive trim around ice and whater dispenser area, Remeved 2 hex nuts holing ice dispenser are in place, one nut has a spring attatched to help the arm go back into position once the arm has been depressed. removed and replaced new arm, works good as new.

The installation was very easy.
Unplug the refrigerator.
Turn off the water supply and disconnect from the old valve.
Remove the old valve and disconnect power connectors for each valve, disconnect the Ice maker water tube and the Water dispenser tube.
Because of the new replacement part, I needed to cut the threaded ... Read more connectors off of the water tubes. Carefully make straight cuts.
Insert the tubes into the correct inlet valves, make sure they are inserted properly, 1 for ice maker, 1 for water dispenser.
Connect the power connectors to the new valve.
Mount the valve onto the refrigerator.
Connect the water supply.
Turn on the water supply valve. Check for leaks.
Plug in the refrigerator.
Test water dispenser and then ice making capabilities.

Seems like a lot of steps, but they are logically connected for this repair. Easy replacement.

Removed the 2 screws holding the light bulb shield, then the 4 uolding the metal panel. Unplugged the olw door switch and replaced.
reassembled the pieces.

The Ice maker unit had to be removed and the shaft had to also be removed, which required dis-assembling the motor drive. The thickness of the shaft and the bearing fill cup prevents it from simply pushing it in place. Other than that I have Ice.

I looked up the PartSelection website. Found the parts from the sketches of units and reviewed the videos on repairs. Then I ordered the parts, altho I ordered the complete unit, instead of the control block that said was problem 59% of time. Following instructions replaced the ice maker. My only problem was that there was no instructions on how to get the block off end of shaft. Tried to impact it off, but by accident found out it screwed off. Then final repair went fast. Parts came fast and overall VERY happy with parts and repairs. They are heavier than original parts so should last longer.
