KSSC36QMS01 KitchenAid Refrigerator - Instructions

First I removed the 2 screws holding the cover on. I then disconnected the wires harness before removing the 4 screws holding the motor in place. I reversed these three steps and wala, the ice dispenser now works perfectly.

Followed the video on parts page. I was worried I would brake the cover but learned from the video the right way to remove the front plate. I found the video very informing. Thank you for saving me a service call and the part cost was minimal compared to a new refrigerator .

took apart panel from door and removed old part and installed new part.It's difficult if you have big hands. Best if you have someone hold up wire panel while you are installing.

It was great repaired the problem for under $60

Removed screws, unplugged connectors to the two faulty circuit boards, reconnected both cables to new/replacement circuit boards, reinstalled screws. Extrremely simple! Worked perfectly! Saved about $150 in less than 30 minutes. Great, fast service by PartsSelect.

I watched the video this site has on their website and I did exactly as the instructor did. I had my ice maker fixed in less than 30 minutes. I simply removed the old switch using 2 small screwdrivers and the old switch case popped out. I then upluged the wires from the old switch and reversed the process. Didn't take longer than 5 minutes begining to end! Thank you for the great service! Duncan quaid

Old part would not stay in place (broken). Recieved new part and snapped it in to place . No tools needed.

Popped off the front panel(from bottom) removed two screws to remove old part and put everything on new panel. Put everything back in place all in less then 15 minutes.
Ordered parts Wednesday forenoon and received it Thursday morning. Very outstanding service!

Removed two screws on inspection plate underneath second shelf on inside of the freezer door. Removed four screws holding motor that turns inside ice bin.
Unplugged wires and reinstalled.

On the bottom of the cover plate are two slots. Insert thin bladed screw driver and pry out gently. Remove electrical connection plate. Remove the old door by removing pin from spring and retaining bracket useing long nose pliers. Install new door kit making sure you use all the parts in the kit.
