We are getting error low fan speed and breaker is tripping. Oven is only 3 years old. What do you think the problem is? Thank you, Don
For model number KSGG700ESS0

Hello Don, thank you for your question! We would recommend checking the Range Cooling Fan as it might have become faulty, the part number is PS12347171. The control panel cooling fan circulates air through the control panel area to cool the controls. We would also recommend checking that the wire is properly connected. We hope this solves your problem!

Receiving message “F8E0” cooling fan speed to low
For model number KSGG700ESS0
PartSelect logo
Hi John, thank you for reaching out. The F8E0 error code indicates that the cooling fan speed is too low. There may be a problem with an airflow restriction, or the oven cooling fan. We would recommend checking the vent for any blockage. If that is not the case, then you have a defective cooling fan, part number PS12347171, and need to be replaced to fix the issue. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

My oven will not come on even though the stove top does.
For model number KSGG700ESS0
PartSelect logo
Hi Gerald, Thank you for your question. If the oven is not heating correctly, then the issue is likely with the oven sensor, sometimes called the oven thermostat, and you will need to check it with a multi-meter. When testing the sensor with a multi-meter, the sensor should be tested at room temperature and it should be unplugged from the oven. You will need to measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. Replace the oven sensor if the reading is less than 900 Ohms or more than 1200 Ohms. If the sensor checks out fine, you will need to check the electronic control board, the oven elements and the wiring between the parts to see which one is causing the issue. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

I turned the oven on yesterday and after I finished I went to turn the oven off by pressing the cancel button and it would not shut off. Also the previous couple times using it, I would set the timer and it would shut the oven off when I pressed the timer button a second time to start the timer. What part needs to be replaced?

mice had made nests in the insulation wrap in the range
I numbered every part. ex: 1 L., for first part removed left side. I used a magic marker to circle the holes and wrote the number of screws used on the part, set the srews in a separete place, so that I new where these screws went to. The cleanup was pretty time consuming, but I was able to keep my stove, when every repairman I called to fix my stove told me I was better off buying a new stove. ($600.00 stove 2 years old)Please Note: The insulation blanket needed for the entire stove is two pieces, the sides and top are one part # and the bottom and back, are another part #. I did not know this. I just purchased the top and sides. I got lucky, the back and bottom were still in good shape. So I guess I should have read the description of the part more carefully to see what it covers, before I ordered it. It took two people two hours to do the work, it was really nice to have an extra set of eyes, to remember what direction pieces of metal from the stove went. I would do it all over in a heart beat instead of buying a new stove.

Scratches in Surface
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
