Hello, I installed the thermostat hoping to resolve the frosting issue in the freezer but it did solve the problem. The frost is mainly on the top shelf and on the ice cubes. Also the frig runs a lot. What do you think my next part to install should be? Thank you for your help.

Hi Susan, Thank you for your question. If there is a lot of food around the area where the cold air circulates from the freezer, it may cause the frost you are experiencing. Make sure that nothing is obstructing the cold air from circulating into the fresh food section. If the refrigerator is running all the time, check the condenser coils on back of the refrigerator to see if there is a build up of dust. If there is, it will prevent the refrigerator from removing the heat from the refrigerant as it travels through the condenser coils and the refrigerator will run longer. If the condenser coils are dirty, clean them. We hope this helps!

Start components and compressor overload? Thanks
For model number KSCS25FVMS03

Hello William, thank you for contacting us. We would recommend cleaning the condenser coils and seeing if it helps. Also, inspect the condenser fan to ensure it is working. If not, you will have to replace the fan motor, part number PS11739140. If the fan is fine check the thermistor for continuity as a faulty thermistor can also cause the issue of overloading. If you have any follow-up queries please feel free to reach out to customer service, we are available seven days a week. Glad to be of help!

Ice Maker would not stop making ice.
First, I tested the ice maker "switch" that actually just covers the beam that regulates the ice maker. In the "off" position, it still made ice. Then, I removed the three screws on the cover over the transmitter and disconnected the circuit board at the wire connector. It stopped. After ordering and receiving the new transmitter and receiver boards, I replaced both boards. They are located on either side of the freezer compartment under panels held in place by three screws. Probably saved 150 to 200 bucks.
