As of today no lights on dispenser panel, and ice and water dispenser do not work. Nothing on LCD panel of dispenser panel either. How do I troubleshoot/ fix?

I installed the thermostat hoping to resolve the frosting issue in the freezer but it did solve the problem. The frost is mainly on the top shelf and on the ice cubes. Also the frig runs a lot. What do you think my next part to install should be?

Thank you for your question. If there is a lot of food around the area where the cold air circulates from the freezer, it may cause the frost you are experiencing. Make sure that nothing is obstructing the cold air from circulating into the fresh food section. If the refrigerator is running all the time, check the condenser coils on back of the refrigerator to see if there is a build up of dust. If there is, it will prevent the refrigerator from removing the heat from the refrigerant as it travels through the condenser coils and the refrigerator will run longer. If the condenser coils are dirty, clean them. We hope this helps!

able to get ice water from the dispenser, however, ice despenser not producing ice. I have tried a hard off/on - have switched the on/off ice switch (located on right side of freezer there is a slide switch) . The ice make arm is in the proper position when the door is closed to allow the dispensing of ice. the model I using is about 13 years old. I just changed the filter. Any ideas as to what else I could try
Hello Patricia, thank you for contacting us. We suggest checking the water inlet valve, part number PS11749232. The ice-maker side of the solenoid has likely failed electrically or suffered from mineral buildup. This prevents the valve from opening specifically for the ice tray, even though the separate solenoid for your water dispenser still functions perfectly. You may need to replace it. Hi Gunnar, thank you for reaching out. Your refrigerator is a freestanding counter-depth unit, not a true built-in model. It is designed to slide into a cabinet opening, but it requires minimal air gaps to function safely and efficiently. Your current configuration is directly causing the severe performance issues, mold, and freezing you are experiencing. Slide the refrigerator out by 1 to 2 inches so it sits slightly on the side panels. This allows trapped heat to escape from the top and sides. Once you have provided air clearance and cleaned the coils, set your thermostat back to the factory-recommended midpoint setting. Wait a full 24 hours for the temperatures to stabilize. If not, you will have to replace the fan motor, part number PS11739140. If the fan is fine check the thermistor for continuity as a faulty thermistor can also cause the issue of overloading.
