Disconnect plug from wall. Insert putty knife between light switch.and trim panel , apply pressure to depress plastic spring holding switch in place. Popped out broken switch with blunt flat edged instrument. Disconnected switch from unit . Plugged new piece in and reinserted into side panel of refrigerator. Very easy.

The instructions in the package were not helpful. They wanted me to cut the wiring harness and described where to cut based on the wire colors. My wires were not the same color! It was easy to push the whole assembly back into the door. I spent more time looking for something to cut the wiring harness with (and never did find it) than the whole job actually took without needing to cut anything!

Literally just unplugged the old light and removed three wire harnesses. Then installed the new light by reconnecting those three wire harnesses

use kitchen knife to pry out. replaced switch assemble and pressed back into place. Could not have done this with out help from previous customers. Thanks

Everything went as planned except the cold temperature (freezer door switch located inside freezer) made deflection of the switch locking tab difficult to remove. Letting the switch warm up was not an option.

I went onto YouTube to see how to properly replace the old gasket with a new one. The new gasket was softer and had a better upgraded seal design. Installation required me to CAREFULLY use the putty knife to push the gasket into the holding slot. This is also a better. more secure design. The corners of the hard plastic insert did need t ... Read more o be SLIGHTLY trimmed to eliminate some "over gap closeness". I did the work with food in the refrigerator. I suggest that you do an EXTENSIVE defrosting as ice will have probably built-up way beyond "normal" using the old gasket. I defrosted several days after installing the new gasket. I used a hair dryer, spent about a 1/2 hour from top to bottom and drained about 6-8 oz. of "Frost". I also only fill the fridge with food about 3/4 full. This provides proper air circulation and even cooling. I hope you found this helpful.

We thought the trim piece would pop off the drawer, but instead the trim is glued to the drawer handle. After puzzling over what to do for a couple minutes, we grabbed some pliers and SLOWLY leveraged / peeled the old trim off and put the new trim on.

I took off the broken tube and attempted to order a new one with the confusing we sight at parts.com- after 3 attempts I finally got the right part with help from the operator at parts . Com( nice and helpful) but had to ship wrong parts ( the 2 wrong ones) back. The parts were of good quality and we're not hard to put on

The switch fix but did not fix the problem. I assumed the wires go on the same way as on the old switch. Is it possible if one light Burns out, the other will not work either?

The part was perfect, easy installing. The customer service representative was knowledgeable and very helpful.

Took the old one out and put the new one in

Pried out old part with screwdriver. Unplugged. When new part came, just plugged it in and pushed the part into place.
