I knew the chances of all the freon leaking out was unlikely so I looked at the wiring to the compressor and there was a capacitor and a starter/overload so i figured I would start there. I went on line and found the parts at this site and they were less than the minimum service call charge for a service tech so I figured what the heck le ... I ordered the parts and they were there in less time than a service tech could come out and i installed the parts and guess what for 90.00 in parts and 15 minutes in time I repaired my refrigerator. Thanks guys, It took less time to order the parts than it did to make the repair so thanks, your website rocks and is very well designed so my hat is off to you guys!

I used a flat screwdriver and released the lock tab on the bottom of the light switch, and pried the switch out, being careful to not damage the plastic around the mounting place of the switch, unplugged wiring from old switch, plugged in the new one and pushed the new switch into place. Job finished light switch now working.

Unfortunately, I have still not managed to complete the repair, using the two parts indicated above, nor with the door bracket (part no WP2183805) that I ordered subsequently that arrived two days ago. It is not the same as, nor functionally equivalent to, the old bracket that I assumed was broken, since it was not retaining the piece in ... The new Cam is the correct part, but is not the solution since the old Cam is slightly worn but not damaged, and the thimble I bought does not seem to fit anywhere. The hole in the new bracket has a much too small hole to retain the Cam receptacle piece in place in the base of the door. However, this is the only lower door bracket shown in the PartSelect diagram of all the door parts used on a Whirlpool WRF560SMYM04 refrigerator. I do observe that the dark gray plastic cover on the base of the door is broken, but I don't imagine this plastic cover served to retain the Cam receptacle piece solidly in place, and this plastic cover is not offered as a replacement part either. At present I am at a total loss for how to proceed! However, the instructions for removing and replacing the door are clear and very easily carried out, and the job would be very quick and easy with the right parts. So beware if you are repairing the door on this model that the door parts diagram might not show all the parts to cover the door variations that apparently have been used!

I ordered both tracks for replacement. It was very simple to remove the glass shelf. Turn upside down and match the replacements to what is attached to the shelf. You need a butter knife or screwdriver to release the three clips connecting the track to the shelf. Very carefully press down on the clips to disengage and pull off of the shel ... A repair man came out and had to replace the ice maker

Took a putty knife and
Removed the old switch removed the spade terminals from the old switch and replaced them on the new switch and just pushed the new switch back in place

This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.

took the old thermistor out and put the new one in.

Took off the cover, pulled out the old filter, inserted the new one and closed the door.

When the filter arrived, I removed it from the package.
Upon reading the instructions, I removed the old filter.

Very simple. Matched female plugs with respective male color coded prong; pushed together then inserted unit in slot of freezer sidewall and rotated into position...job done.

Unplugged the refrigerator, removed the bottom freezer door, removed the two sliding shelves, removed the ice maker. Took the inside back wall off to expose the evaporator motor (have to bend it a bit to get it out. Used a small socket to remove the shroud and the evaporator motor. I removed the cardboard back then using a nut driver removed the three mounting screws, removed the old fan/motor and installed the new one, installing the three screws and replacing the cardboard cover.

My big problem was getting the right parts. Don't ever order refrigerator parts using the refrigerator model number. I did ... I sent it back and removed the fan motor to get the part number, called and ordered by number and got the right one. Hallelujah!
