KGRA KitchenAid Range - Instructions

Taking off the glass lense for the light bulb was harder than I thought. It unscrews counterclockwise, but it was very hard to get off. It would not turn. I ended up using connector pliers I use for work, that has rubber jaws. The lense unscrewed very easy with it. Light also unscrews out. PartSelect.com is the only way to go to buy parts ... It went fine once you imbeciles sent the right part, thank you for miss labeling it on the website and costing me time, a week without an oven, and extra expenses. The inner GLASS is the inner GLASS, not the middle glass of a layered three glass door!

It most likely would have gone quickly had we ordered the right part!

My story isn't so much about the repair but the fine service from part select. My 1st order was lost at delivery at our house. Part select quickly corrected the mishap with no issues. This kind of service is much appreciated.

Unwrapped the package, plugged the probe into the oven, stuck the other end into the chicken.

Just replaced insert pan - was able to identify it on the internet web site by inserting model number. Ordered part on line and got it within a week! Easy peasy!

replaced gas valve and oven burner with ignitor

Tried reusing old door hinges after removing door to access temp sensor and broke the oven glass twice.with new hinges , new glass went in easily.

Door repair assembly was simple, did without any instructions or manuals. Fan assembly, the actual fan replacement was easy, it was the number of pieces of metal that needed to be removed i order to get the main rear panel off to access. Installed new panel and re-assembled stovetop. Went very smoothly. Shipping was amazing. I ordered part on Thursday afternoon and it arrived Friday morning.

I removed the broken slide by removing 1 screw on the front slide and the back of the slide came out of the slot in the very back (no screws). I fitted the back of the slide into the slot and then replaced the screw on the front of slide. Extended the slides then I pressed the tabs on the drawer and replaced in onto the slides (left an ... We unplugged the range and shut off the cable switch. We took off the back panels and found the thermostat behind the bottom panel. I believe my husband had to take the top panel off first in order to get the bottom panel off. We installed the new thermostat (two screws) for our model range, re-connected the two wires, plugged it back into the wall and switched on the cable. We were elated when the panel board lid up and seconds later the oven door opened. It works beautifully.
