KF400GDV3 Frigidaire Range - Instructions

1. First I pulled out the heating element from stovetop and removed old pan (no screws) very simple. 2. Put new pan in and inserted the heating element back in place.

Unscrewed back of oven the plate that was holding on old element, removed it (plugged into small wire device)
Plugged in new one and replaced screws to hold in place.

Removed the 2 element holding screws, disconnected the element leads & remover element. Replaced with new element.
All in all a real easy job (wish all repairs went this easy)
PartSelect had the element at the house within a couple days (Correct part I might add) which made the wife happy !!

Watching the video showed an easy, unscrew and screw back on process while connecting the wires back. It was really that simple. Once it was complete (not even 10mins), plugged it back in, and its been working great since.

First, trip the circuit breaker for your stove. Second I removed the two screws ( 1/4" nut driver makes this go quickly ) that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches ( double check the electricity is off with your tester )and disconnected the two wires from each side of the element. Press connectors on new ... It was really easy. Removed the racks, removed the 2 quarter-inch screws with a nutdriver. Pulled the bad element out about 3-4 inches, enough to unhook the wires attached to the element with spade connectors. Unhooked the wires and removed bad element. Hooked up new element and reversed the process. Thanks PartSelect!

Just took the back of the stove off and removed old one and put new one in. Very simple.

Removed 2 rear screws. Pulled out element. Popped out 2 wire clips. Replaced old element with the new one and attached wire clips. A caveman could do it.

juist loosened nut and pulled element out about three inches, detached leads, reattached new leads and installed.

I cleaned up the bottom of the oven since it is so much easier to clean while empty. Plugged the two wires onto the new burner, slid it back into position and refastened the screws.
The hard ... Read more est part was getting one of the screws out since it had been rounded over and the phillips slots were worn too, like somebody had failed to remove it earlier. All I needed was a pliers to grip it.

took two screws out disconnected wires and connected new element ,screw back togather in about ten mins and started cooking dinner

Loosened two nuts , removed old element. New element snapped into terminal tightned nuts . 0 minutes tops.

Removed back of stove, removed screws holding old element. attached new element in same place, returned back to stove. My wife pushed element from inside stove into holes, which was a help. Voila! It works great.

Thank for having the part necessary to put the old range back in shape. The repair job was simply to unplug the old one and plug in the new one! Great simply job!
