KF350GDF0 Frigidaire Range - Instructions

It was simple.............the range-top tilts up so I proped it with a stick of wood, pulled out the old burner and plugged in the new one (when I saw how inexpensive the new element was I orderd two to replace the other 8" because it didn't look long for this world either). The whole operation took less than 10 min. no tools or batteries ... Read more required!!!!!!!!!.........no-mus-no -fus.

Just replace the parts. Too easy for an old man.

I pulled out the stove from the wall and unplugged it. I then used a socket set with a long extension which made it easier to reach the rear wall of the stove. After removing the screws i gentle pulled the element forward and exposed the clips and wires. I removed the clips. The wires seemed to want to slip back into the hole so I used cl ... Read more othes pins to hold them in place. After I received the new element (Two Days) I reversed the process. Using a socket set it is very easy to tighten the screws to much. Be careful to just snug the screws. I plugged the unit back in and slid it back in place and turned it on.

Removed element by loosening two screws, disconnected heater element and connected new element and reattached to oven wall. Turn on oven to check for heater to work. Confirmed heater worked. Repair complete.

I turned off the circuit breaker to the range. Next I removed the two screws that fastened the element to the rear of the oven. Then I pulled the element out far enough to be able to reach the spade clips and disconnected the element. I connected the replacement element to the clips and fastened it to the rear of the oven with the two scr ... Read more ews. I turned the circuit braker on and the element functioned properly.

Really easy process. First I unplugged the oven for safety then I proceeded to remove the 2 screws that were holding the old element in place. Next I removed the old element then installed the new one. After installing the two screws I connect the oven back to its power source and BANG!............. It works like a charm

Pulled stove out, removed screws that hold the element in place. Then pulled element out a few inches, diconnected the two wires. I connected the wires to the new element and put everything back to right. It was quick and easy.

Loosened the two nuts that hold the element in place. Gently pulled the old elementr forward to expose connections. Disconnected the old element and attached the new element. Slipped the new attached element through the holes being carful not to disturb the insulation. Once the element was in the correct position with the tabs against the ... First my husband removed the two screws that held the heating element into place. I had tried it with pliers which didn't work well. But with the proper socket the screws came loose easily. If I didn't need my oven ASAP, I would not even have attempted to do this repair before my husband came home. But he wasn't going to be home for hours, and I needed it now!

That was it! It worked great!! Very simple.
I called my husband immediately to tell him of my great accomplishment!! I was so proud of myself!

Really easy--unscrew screws, pull element out, unclip wire connection. Re-clip to new burner, put back in--done. Saved a $100 tech trip PLUS double mark up on part!

Unscrew the old one and unplug the wire leads. Then plug in the new one and bolt back up.

Oven is an in the wall unit. Normally it is an unplug and plug in. The old one had a melted connector, so the connector had to be cut off and replaced as well. Be sure to turn off the electricity at the braker to be safe, first.

I just removed two screws. Pulled the element out, unhooked the wires. plugged the wires into the new element screwed it in and was done
