Unplug power cord, remove wires from block. take 2 screws out. replace with new block about 15 mins. Done

We removed 4 screws that let us raise the top of the stove. It was then very easy for my husband to remove the old burner and replace the new one. By ordering this part from you and installing it ourselves, we saved $248 from the quote we received from our "Maytag Repairman". Can't beat a deal like this and it was so easy.

My story isn't so much about the repair but the fine service from part select. My 1st order was lost at delivery at our house. Part select quickly corrected the mishap with no issues. This kind of service is much appreciated.

Unwrapped the package, plugged the probe into the oven, stuck the other end into the chicken.

Moved Oven from wall, removed eight screws holding down the Burner Top. Lifted Top and held it up to remove two screws on the side of the element. Disconnected four wires, replaced element, connected the four wires again and assembled in reverse mode of dissasembly. All went pretty simple, moving oven from wall and adjusting/level it back ... Unplug appliance first. Remove rear cover plate (only to disconnect burner plug). Remove plastic upper side covers. Open oven door & remove two screws holding burner top. Lift off entire top, flip upside down and change element.

We looked online for instructions, not sure how to "lift" the glass top.... There were 2 screws/hex head at the front of the range under the top that when removed allowed the top to be lifted up ..... the elements are on the underside, and with the removal of a few screws and unplugging the element connections (real easy) the burned out e ... Removed the three screws holding on the back plate and removed plate.

Popped out the switch and used the pliers to pull off the wires. Connected the wires to the new switch.

Popped out the broken light. Slid the new lens into the front panel. Slid the light housing onto the new lens.

Ordered part needed. Much, much cheaper than purching a new range.

The repair was very easy. It took me less than ten minutes. There were only five screws including two to hold heat element that I have to unscrew and transferred the old clip the screw onto new heat element.

Removed the therminal block and put the new one in.Using a screwdriver, very easy repair.

Removed top of stove replaced heating element ,piece of cake.

Open oven door and remove two screews with 5/16 nutdriver to remove hole top of stove.Just lift up gently on front of top and pull toward you and when about 4 inch clearance on back of top you will see where all the wires connect ,press the side tabs of this big connector and it will release very easy to remove the top.Place top on bath t ... Read more owell upside down on countertop and remove 4 screws and 2 clips on the bad burner with the same 5/16 nut driver and remove the three wires and reinstall the same way then reinstall the top on the stove in the same order.Very Easy Job
