KERH KitchenAid Range - Instructions

Only one screwdriver needed for this simple repair. Unfortunately for me it did not repair my oven and a new code on the oven indicated a bigger problem with computer board.
Part Select was great to work with and accepted a return and promptly refunded me for the part.

Replaced damaged drawer roller: easy peasy!

Loosen 2 screws and put new part in and tighten 2 screws. After putting in new sensor stove gave me another code had new part in 5 min and part select would not take my part back.

Removed the top light, removed the 2 screws in the light pan and pulled the control panel over the stove top. Held controls exactly as mounted, removed wires from the old control and pushed on to the new ones. Removed the 2 screws that held the controls to the panel, tossed the old control and put in screws to the new controls securing ... Read more them to the panel. Remember to unplug the range first. And, a secure bar that maintains the push button panel will have to be maintained, so tape before removing any parts.

First BE SURE TO TURN OFF THE CIRCUIT BREAKER!!! Remove the oven door if you need to get closer to the work. Then remove the screws securing the the element to the the oven. There were two on each side in the back where the element goes they the wall and two more that held the element to the upper surface. Carefully pull the element out t ... Read more o gain access to the wires and terminals. Gently pull each wire off one at a time, being sure not to allow the wire to get pulled back into the rear part of the oven. Reconnect each wire securely to the new element. Doubly check each connection! Then replace each screw and you should be set!

The old part, including lightbulb and socket, had corroded into place, and the glass light cover was stuck to the socket. I used a dead blow hammer and a dowel just under the diameter of the hole to tap on the back side of the socket to loosen it and get it out. The metal tabs on the old socket were folded back to make it fit better (?), ... Read more which made it harder to remove. Lots of muscling of the part to get it out. Easy to install new part once old one was out of the way. An experienced person would have removed the old part and installed the new in no time.

I have KitchenAid convection oven that is about ten years old . The hinge on the left hand side broke so I had to replace it. It took me about 2 hours to get the job done because I cleaned the door as I went . The change out while fairly strait forward did take some time . A lot longer the some of the people said .

I trouble shot and traced out to electrical short in face panel and found burnt wires. I've been a licensed electrician for years and it takes alot of comon sense to trouble shoot and find problem. just needed clearner for the top of my glass top, the operator was very helpful I received my clearniner in 7 days thank you

removed the shield and removed the old tube. Replaced with the new tube and replaced the shield. The only place I could locate this tube was through the internet. This Co. had as good a price including shipping that I found.

We actually had to get the repairman back that had repaired our microwave. Our range has the attached microwave above the range. My stovetop light worked prior to the visit. Read more e store in a 35 mile radius did. We finally got the glass protector off, and the new tube did not go on. Back to the repairman, to tell him the new bulb did not work and that probably something happened when he visited before. He came back, found that indeed a wire had been broken when he was working on the microwave. I had indicated to him I did not expect to pay another repair bill after I had alrealy spent 117. before plus the cost of the new bulb, 22. something including shipping. He obliged and id not charge me anythink to repair the broken wire.
Now I have the old bulb for back up!!!

Removed the small metal panel covering the main power terminal in back of the electric range. Removed the nuts holding the red, white and black electrical wires from the range using the appropriate socket (there will be two nuts on each bolt end). Removed the two screws holding the main power terminal block with appropriate screw driver. ... Read more Connect the new main power terminal block to the range using the two screws. Reconnect the red, black and white electrical wires coming from the range using one nut for each wire. IMPORTANT: do no over tighten the nuts because the bolts could snap. Reconnect the pigtail and secure the small metal panel covering the main power panel.
