Removed screws holding dishwasher in place. This dishwasher has one one the left and right side after you open the door hidden behind a plastic hole cover that you can pry out of place with a putty knife or some other thin tool. After this pull the dishwasher out about halfway and there are 4 screws on each side of the dishwasher (on the

Remove the mounting screws that hold the dishwasher under the counter top. Remove dust cover plates at the bottom of the machine. hine out enough so you have access to the door cables and springs. The door will have to be in the closed(up) position to do the repair. Usually only one side is broken. Start with the broken side and copy the working side when installing new parts. Then repair the working side. To get the working side apart just pull on the spring and disconnect it from the cable. Do the reverse to reinstall.

Disconnected water, drain and electricity. Pulled machine out and put on its back to access bottom. It's a matter of swapping out the part. You do have to "move" some blocking parts, but no big deal. Only issue is you need to have traditional hose clamps as the 2 OEM clamps are 1 time use and if you do not have the crimper, you need to re

place with standard ones. Also, no one tells you that you may need to "reset" the machine when you put the power back on. I had an error /fault code of FA E5 which is a drain issue. Just cut the power for a couple of minutes, open the door, hit CANCEL twice ( you may need to hit HEATED DRY too), put power back on, and the fault code will go away. Not sure if this is what the factory says, but a bit of trial and error solved it.
Never done any repair before on an appliance, but a lot less expensive than repair person who wanted $665 + tax.

Hardest part was pulling dishwasher away from cabinet, making sure to not disturb water and drain line. I replaced both door springs which are on the two sides and attached to the dishwasher frame towards the back. This necessiatated pulling the dishwasher about 2/3 out of cabinet. After attaching both springs to frame, replacing the bal

ance kit was a breeze .One screw to remove and then replace with new pulley unit. Attach the supplied cord with attached fittings to spring and then around two pulleys and mounting point on frame. Done . Push dishwasher back into cabinet, reattach two screws to underside of counter. Probably did not require new springs as they seem heavy duty and were not broken upon examination but ordered them also and replaced just in case. Most problem would be with broken cord in balance link kit

I simply had to hook up the power cord to the dishwasher so i could plug it into the outlet rather than direct wire the appliance. Everything went very smoothly. Everything needed for installation other than tools was provided. Easy to follow instructions if you know a little about electrical wiring.
