Door would not latch shut
7 of 7 people found this instruction helpful.
  • RONALD from PRESCOTT, AZ
  • Really Easy
  • 30 - 60 mins
Following a utube video made it easy. Removed the outer cover of the door to expose latch. Two screws remove the latch, pay attention to how it was positioned and put the new one on and then replace the panel. But first turn off the electricity to the unit at the fuse box.

The original part broke down with use and needed to be replaced

  • Leon from FALLS CHURCH, VA
  • Very Easy
  • 15 - 30 mins
The repair was easy. First remove the entire rack from the dishwasher. There are three clips that hold the rack adjuster in place. It's relatively easy to see how to loosen the clips to remove the old rack adjuster. I took a couple of photos before I loosened the clips to help remember where they belong. When putting the rack adjuste r it's important to move the rack height adjustment release lever up and down until the vertical part of the rack adjuster easily slides into the slot in the upper rack bracket. Once the rack adjuster in in it's proper location replace the three clips removed at the start of the procedure. Place the rack back into the dishwasher.

I turned off the power to dishwasher first. Removed bottom plate to get to leveling legs. Lowered the legs as to be able to pull and skid dishwasher out from under counter.
Once dishwasher is removed from under locate the 4 screws on right side that hold racks remove them.
I would recommend replacing both skids on both si de while you have the dishwasher pulled out.
Very easy to replace new rack slid once old rack removed.
The rack come assembled with skid and plastic holders.
This repair is a 10 minute repair per side.
Thanks Bob Seese

  • Matthew from N KINGSTOWN, RI

I found it best to lay the dishwasher on it's side, this makes it easier to attach a 90 degree hose fitting without cross threading the plastic fitting.

First I removed everything off of the bottom of the dishwasher. Then I removed the main center piece that everything mounts to. Then I reinstalled the new center piece with the help of some evoo cooking spray (extra virgin olive oil) I sprayed it on the rubber seal to aid in getting that center piece installed without a battle. Then I rei nstalled everything else in the reverse order that I removed it. The evoo cooking spray works wonders for more than just cooking !!!

The internet is great for some things!

Dishwasher was leaking but I couldn't determine exact cause, so I tried replacing the gasket which is common cause of leaks.

  • Dale from DOWNINGTOWN, PA

  • 30 - 60 mins
Removed old gasket, cleaned track thoroughly, then followed instructions from video on Part Select order form. Instructions very clear and precise. Getting the new gasket was a little tedious at the corners but take your time and work the gasket with your fingers as shown on the video.

Upper Rack Wouldn't Close

  • Susan from SEATTLE, WA
  • A Bit Difficult
  • 1- 2 hours
  • Screw drivers
Hardest part was figuring out how to release and remove upper rack as mine did not match the instructions. After that is was tricky but not overly difficult. The instructions on-line did not make sense, but it all was fairly intuitive process. Take some before pictures, lol. Dishwaswasher works great.

Draw not sliding properly. Water manifold low pressure.
6 of 6 people found this instruction helpful.
  • Ray from LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ
  • A Bit Difficult
  • 30 - 60 mins
  • Screw drivers
Remove entire top rack and place on a large flat work surface. A small screwdriver is needed to release several plastic clips holding the upper drawer slider brackets and manifold in place. Carefully pry the clips free of their mounting holes and remove the bracket. Take some time to study how things are held together before removing anyt hing since one plastic clip is closely affected by the others. Without pictures, and a video, it's really difficult to put into words. I must stress, do not force anything. When disassembling, use the opposite side to as a visual aid to reassemble.
