Removed door and crisper pans.
Removed nuts on left end cap - think there were 3.
Removed nuts on right end cap and one or two on back air regulator attached to right end cap.
Replaced left end cap with new one using reserved nuts.
Carefully removed back air regulator from right end cap.
Attached back air regula ... Read more tor to new right end cap.
Replaced right end cap and back air regulator and attached with nuts.
Carefully inserted pantry door into pin on one side and slightly bent both right and left pins to insert door fully into end caps.
Replaced crisper pans.
That's it.

Overload relay accessible from back, by compressor unit. Very easy to change out. Diagram from your site placed defrost thermostat in same area.It wasn't. Found another diagram, showed it in refrigerator light area, took that apart, not there. Yet another diagram showed it in the duct work area at back of refrigerator cabinet. Not there. ... Read more Finally removed back of freezer compartment, found thermistor and thermostat with the fins. Clipped wires, wired in parts, quick fix. Longest amount of time was spent finding the old parts to replace them. Actual replacement took less than 15 minutes. Refrigerator holding at 35 degrees set on 2 now, better than ever. Total cost, less than $120, doing iy ourselves....priceless.

Something Kitchen Aid wont tell you but running a self clean on this model stove blows the fuse located on the back of the stove.

First I slid the stove out and removed the back of the stove held in place by 8 Phillips screws. The thermostat fuse is located near the top middle on the back of the stove. This repair would have cost $164 through A&E factory service.

With socket wrench un-screwed the 3 screws and pulled out the ice maker assembly.

Pulled off white plastic end-cap and noticed the plastic gear disk had snapped off (sub part # R0167202)

However, it is all-one-part of the motor assembly unit # w10190935 (part # PS2341896) which must be ordered as a complete part.

Unscrewed the motor assembly (3 screws) with phillips head screw driver.

Screwed in the new unit.

Placed ice maker back into location and tightend the bacing srews.

1 hour later ice was falling!

It's simple enough in theory: read the side of the box and follow the instructions. BUT you need to really push the knob in pretty hard (I am a girl, and my hand strength isn't that good). If you don't, when you turn the knob, the filter won't come out, then it's tougher. So: make sure the knob pops before you turn!

The switch-out of the water filter was simple with good instructions on the box.
The part was delivered very, very quickly!

I removed the two screws that held the bake element in place. Next I removed the Bake Element. I had to unscrew the oven to go behind it because when one piece off of the element broke, it slide back behind the oven. I pushed the wire back thru the piece holes, connected the Element, and pushed the element with the wires back through the ... Read more holes. I rescrewed the element in place and the oven. Repair Procedure: Shut off water ... Read more supply. It may be easier to work if you disconnect the water supply tube, but it is not required. On the backside of the refrigerator, remove the bottom, black plastic protection panel. You will need a nut driver or battery-powered screw driver with a 3/8" socket tip on it. Next, remove the black metal panel that holds the water inlet valve in place. Remove screws with a nut driver. 1st remove the two flat-pin power connectors. (They are different sizes and color-coded, so there is no room for making a re-hookup mistake). Then proceed to remove the hoses. The hoses are pressure-lock tubing, so push the plastic disk in or down where the tube goes into the main body of the valve. Do this for all three hoses (tubes). Switch water valves and reverse the procedure. **Be certain that the tubes are pushed back in as far as they can go; if you do not re-seat the tubes, the pressure from the water going back in the valve, will blow the tubes right out the valve (ask me how I know this!). Once reassembled, turn the water back on slowly. Make sure you turn the water supply valve all the way open, it seats itself internally when you do and is less prone to drip leaks. That's it! (As a former kitchen remodeler, I find this a great DIY project).

Shutoff water and turn off fridge. Remove the main water hose from the fridge with pliers, then remove back bottom plate of fridge where the hose was at (about 5 screws) in order to disconnect the hoses going into the valve by pushing in on the plastic colored fastener(blue & white) while pulling on the hose at the same time. Do this for ... Read more each of the hoses. Then disconnect the wires from the valve and unscrew the valve(1 screw) from the back plate. Replace with new valve which comes with brand new fasteners for the hoses so all you have to do is insert the hoses in the valve and reverse the above process to install the valve.

Just turn old filter counterclockwise, pulli it out, insert the new filter from "Part Select" clockwise and WALLLA!!!!...we have fresh clean water.That easy a caveman can do it.

This built-in oven was slid out of it's space and set on a box. I removed the back cover with nut driver and located the safety overload device. removed nuts and used pliers to remove wires and replace them. I removed the ice maker from the refrigerator, by removing one screw on the underside bracket and loosening the two screws at the top side, then lifting the ice maker off the loosened screws. I then unplugged the electrical harness that supplies power from the refrigerator to the ice maker. I then disassembled the ice maker by removing ... Read more the front cover which is snapped in place, then removing two recessed screws at the front. I removed the broken part, I then reassembled the ice maker with the new part. I replaced the two recessed screws at the front and snapped on the cover. Then I reinstalled the ice maker in the refrigator by plugging in the harness, slipping the ice maker over the loosened screws in the refrigerator and replacing the screw that was removed from the underside bracket. Tightening all the screws completed the project.

It was ridiculously easy. Push the button on the filter canister holder at the base of the refrigerator and the spring-loaded mechanism came out smoothly. first I backed off top two screws and removed bottom screw. unplugged wire harness. removed old icemaker. harness on new icemaker was the same. plugged in hung new icemaker on top two screws installed bottom screw. turned water on job complete and very easy. I was very satisfied with the whole process.
