Read more The kit came with extra connectors in case they were needed, but they were not in my case and so I pulled off the wires, pushed the old socket out and the new one in. Attaching the wires to the correct pins, I screwed in the light bulb to be sure that the fix was correct and determining that, I replaced the screws that held the panel in place. Voila, I'm a happy camper who found some outdated jars in the back corners of the newly lighted shelves.

Took the old one out and plug the new one in, simply as 1 2 3. Order the part one morning,it was here the next afternoon, the ice maker was fixed in less than a half hour. we will order from you the next time.

The actual repair was very easy, what was the difficult part was to get to the valve!! It is on the bottom front but the size of the valve is larger than the opening so we used PVC pipe to create a fulcrum so that we could pick up the front of the frig about 1/4" to remove the valve. Unpluged the refrigerator, removed the burnt out switch by unpluging it, plugged the new one in re installed the switch into cover. Plugged in refrigerator replaced cover. Done. Easy as one two three

take out Ice maker tray, remove three screws holding the ice maker, unplug electrical connector. Replace with new Ice maker,Ice started to fill the tray. ENJOY!!

fist turned off water supply. then removed bottom kick plate. unscrewed old valve, unscrewed each water line. removed old valve. put in new valve and repeated putting back each water line than the kick plate. depending on the height of your refrigerator you may have to crank up the leveler bolts to give you more room.

It was not complicated but it took more squeezing and reaching into the narrow space than actually removing three screws and unplugging the electrical harness. But that was all that was necessary, to install, three screws held the unit in place and re-connect the electrical harness. It saved me about $100 in labor and the inconvenience of ... Very easy to order from parts select. Took seconds to replace.

Replace the water solenoid vave. Shut refrigerator off. Removed water filter below the door. Removed the front cover. Reached back and shut the water valve off. Remover the 2 screws holding the water valve to the bracket. Took the electric connector off the valve. The fitting are tight. Hold the ring down, push on the tubing and th ... Read more en pull the tubing out. Replace the tubing in the new valve and the electric connector. Reverse the procedure. I ran a test before putting the front cover back on. It takes some time but can test amount of water in the cube maker with your fingure.

Repair went well,took about five to ten minutes to disconnect the power from the fridge removed the defective switch installed the new one ,reconnected the power,,,and Let there be light and there was light!

ordered the part, pulled out the icemaker unit, removed the module, put the new module in, reinstalled the ice maker unit and let it run.

I determined that the ice cube maker was no longer heating the cubes so they could be released into the ice tray. After ordering a new unit, taking out four screws and disconnecting the quick disconnect of wires I plugged the new one in and we were back in business.
