pop open, unscrew quarter turn, screw new one in quarter turn, pop shut. duh

followed the instructions provided and that's it!

Unplug the fridge then wheel the refrigerator out to where you can get to the back - you will probably have to disconnect the ice maker water hose. Read more (facing the back of the fridge) you will see the capacitor held onto the compressor with a spring clip. Just pull the clip toward you and that will free the capacitor. Pull up on the capacitor and that will unplug it from the compressor. Be careful not to touch the two poles on the old capacitor. Capacitors store electricity and it could give you a jolt. I used electrical tape to insulate the poles and then threw it away. Plug in the new capacitor- re-hook the clip, reinstall the back panel, plug it in and verify that the fridge is working. Hook your water hose back up and move it back into place and you are done.

Very simple. Matched female plugs with respective male color coded prong; pushed together then inserted unit in slot of freezer sidewall and rotated into position...job done.

Replaced filter and the water started to flow like the Nile River and the ice maker came back to life.

I called the installer of my filter unit and he told me that often, thhe fridge filter is the problem. Like magic it worked

first pressed in two bottom corners then used fingers to press in bottom section,pressed in two top corners then pressed in both sides using fingers followed by pressing in top section using fingers.VERY EASY !

Pulled out on gasket seal at top right corner of door and when loose pealed the seal out around door. Installed gasket by inserting channel insert into door groove and pressed gasket in while lightly pulling down to stretch seal out to facilitate inserting gasket lip into door channel. Bada bing! Watched installation Video on the website parts. I put the new gaskets in bath tube in warm water for a few minuets until the gaskets were warm and pliable. I removed old gaskets cleaned door facing and installed new gaskets as instructed on video. Thanks for the information on how to install because I was dreading trying to do this task. ... Unplug the electric flat plug from wall. Loosen up 3 mount support screws , Change out unit. Mount Int back onto 3 support screws . Plug in electronic flag plug , It only goes in one way since the plug as a grove on it.

Removed the old frame and removed the metal rod from the front of the old and slide it in to the new frame.
