Just put it on. Quite proud of myself for figuring out what and how to get the part however! The website was very helpful.

Don't forget to unplug and/or turn off the main breaker!

I removed oven door so i could reach easier. Then removed screws from Broiler element at the back of the oven. Pulled off connected wires. Slid wire connectors on new element and screwed bracket in.

Replaced old with new.

I unscrewed two screws inside the over over the element. Then I slowly pulled the element out and unplugged the two wires attached. Afterward I pushed the element back in place and screwed it back in and was done. Sure saved $550 I thought I might have to spend on a new oven,

First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. I then connected the wires to the new element and reinstalled the two screws. A brief test showed the element worked and that was it.

Removed the hexagon screws. pulled the unit out and wiggled the tabs loose disconnecting them. Installed the new unit-attaching the tabs making sure they were tight. Put the new unit through the opening in the back of the oven and reattached the hexagon screws. Back in business in about 10 minutes.

i dd not notice at first and started the self cleaner,,,i notice the self cleaner did not work,the screws had to be sprayed with dw30a couple of times and a pair of pliers to remove screws(no wrench set)after removing screws pulled the wires out to see and removed the connection to wires,,,replaced with new bake element and replaced the s ... Order parts and installed - no tools needed - completed repairs less than 1 minute

Lift out old one and replace with new one. Also ordered an additional oven rack.
Their website is super easy to navigate and their availability of parts it's outstanding!!

First my son removed the two screws that held th element in place but first please tell everyone to turn off the breaker first. My son did not and he had gotten a shock from this and burned his hand. I think this is very important first. After cleaning up his hand he then replaced the element and tested it and it worked nicely.

Pull the range out from the wall to access the rear of the unit. Turn off power to the range by unplugging from the wall or turning off the breaker.
Remove the large back cover from the oven portion of the range. Locate the two small wires and connector which is located between the two connections for the broiler heating element. Unp ... Read more lug the small connector.
Open the oven door and remove the screw that holds the temperature sensor in place between the broiler heating elements on the inside of the oven. Gently pull the sensor and the wire connector through the hole and discard.
Feed the new connector and wire through the hole from the inside of the oven. Attach the sensor to the oven wall with the screw.
Go to the back of the unit and make sure that no insulation has gotten into the oven space. Re-route the new wire being careful not to let it touch the contacts for the broiler heating element. Reconnect the wires to the connector and replace the back cover of the oven.
Plug in the range or turn on the circuit breaker. Slide the range back into place and re-level the unit. Test the oven to make sure the temperature is accurate and will maintain temperature.

Unplug the range from its wall socket to avoid electric shock. The various range parts that support a pot or frypan are easily lifted off their perches, exposing the small white igniter. The only moderately difficult aspect is wiggling the igniter out of its retainer. The electric wire leading into it then can be pulled out and fed int ... Read more o the new igniter with a push. Replace igniter in its retainer, then replace the range parts you removed to expose the igniter and plug the range back into the wall socket. Piece of cake.

Removed two screws, and replaced element with a new one. Easy, works great.
