EASY!! Repairs saved $300.00 on serviceman fees they will rip you off for this simple repare

Removed top of stove replaced heating element ,piece of cake.

Removed the therminal block and put the new one in.Using a screwdriver, very easy repair.

unscrew two screws..took old element out, put perfect fit new element in,screw two screws back in.

Ordered part needed. Much, much cheaper than purching a new range.

Contrary to instructions(go thru front of oven) I had to pull out the range, remove two (2) screws from back chassis. At this point you pull out the connector, snap in new, reverse proceedure. Very simple. Hardest part is cleaning up debris generated by moving range.

Turn off the breaker to the range. Unplug, too. Took off the 8 screws that hold the upper back panel on. Took a picture of the wire setup (this ain't my first rodeo). Removed two screws on the bottom of the old latch that hold it in place. Carefully removed the wire leads with needle-nose pliers because I didn't want to replace the wi ... Read more re leads. Reconnected the wires to the new latch, replaced the two screws to hold it onto the oven. Tested with the rocker switch on top and the oven door, both worked. Put the back panel on with the 8 screws.

I was 100% happy with the whole process! The part arrived on schedule, it was exactly what I wanted! The best part of the story is I am a 77 year old lady whose husband was out of town and had never done this before. I could not have been happier with the process! Unplugged stove, opened door and removed two bolts with a phillips screwdriver. Pulled out old element and pulled off the two wire leads. Replaced with new element and reversed all steps...wallaaaaa.

Received the part the day after ordering. Appreciated the quick service and repair took less than a minute.

Remove the plug from outlet then shutoff gas. Remove the 10 screws hold the back panel of the oven. Unclip the connector of the temperature sensor from the main line. Pull the sensor straightout. Looked up on-line the error problem and what part I needed to fix it. Part arrived very quickly and everything was going fine until I realized the stove had two sensors. Removed original broiler element, and found it was open. Replaced with new element.
