This repoair was needed due to diswasher leaking out of side door. I just moved in about 6 months ago and needed to use dishwasher. When it leaked i noticed it was in need of a gasket. Read more y pulling, cleaned up channel and installed new gasket.slid in real easy. I did take off inner door panel to inspect for any damage. none noted. Perfect fit first time. Dont get confused folks if the part has another name as some parts are interchangeable in the industry.

Laid on floor remove two small bolts with nutdriver,loose water line with wrench,remove other water line with pliers.Remove water inlet valve and replace with new one

Wow, could not have been easier. The suggested repair stated that the water inlet valve was the problem 93% of the time. And, it was spot on. It was the exact same replacement part. Researched problems on internet,based on info ordered part. Got it in 24 hrs.followed package directions. So easy and for less than a service call! Runs like a charm now.

Removed dish washer from cabinet area and snapped new clip into cable and hook into support.. The time that took the longest was to removed the screws to pull the unit out of the cabinet area.. Very easy fix...

Replaced the water-fill solenoid valve.

Removed existing gasket seal on door. Cleaned really well with a household cleaner around the gasket crease. Installed new gasket seal around door. Started with small notch in the middle of the gasket to center on top and then slowly fastened into door edge and slowly snug around bottom edge where the deal is notched and the the diffic ... after watching related video on partselect.com, diagnosis and repair couldn't have been much simpler!

Remove front shields on bottom of dishwasher. Shut off dishwasher and electricity. Unplug electric connection. Unscrew brace holder screws on front. Remove clamped on hose at back of valve. Unscrew valve from copper water pipe. Screw on new valve to copper water pipe. Put on clamped hose. Screw on bracket. Plug in electric connection.

door gasket dried out due to not using the dishwasher very often and needed to be replaced. removed door, replaced gasket, and re-installed door.

It took no time at all to identify where the water was leaking from. I accessed a parts breakdown illustration of my dishwasher, identified the part, ordered it and three days later my leak was fixed. Hose and water inlet valve assembly was easy to swap out. I estimate I saved myself about $150.00 by doing it myself.

Followed easy instructions and completed repair in less than 30 minutes.

got replacement valve from part select and works like new this dish wash er is 24 years old. believe it or not did the job with pair of pliers and screw driver. used pliers to take off clamp and screw driver to take out 2 screws and replaced the valve the same way in reverse
