GSD970--01 Hotpoint Dishwasher - Instructions

Ordered a new basket it was a little large as I ordered the wrong size. I just broke of the tabs that held it in and now its perfect and larger !!!! Simple and great service !!!

The motor/pump Kit I purchased could fix/be installed in any GE dishwasher made since 1970. I would guess that the one I have is about 15-20 years old. Followed easy instructions and completed repair in less than 30 minutes.

Original part no longer made. Substitute too small by a half an inch. Corrected the problem by removing the 4 corner wheels from the old rack and put them on the new one. Now, it fits and works perfectly.

Read more ched to dishwasher drain outlet because kit included a short piece of hose and a hose clamp that allowed hose that had been trimmed to connect to outlet.

Dishwasher had become noisier & noisier in last year during wash & rinse cycles. After looking at various web sites, decided to first pull motor/pump & try cleaning it out. That made no difference. Pulled out the old and rolled in the replacement. The easiest part of the repair was ordering from the PartSelect website and receiving it via FedEx Ground the next day. Thank you PartSelect. Even my husband could have been successful with this.

with a dishwasher. Someone had 'packed' the silverware basket and there wasn't one in my dishwasher! Ordered one from here, when it arrived, opened the box, opened the dishwasher and placed it in the correct place. Closed dishwasher - DONE!

nothing to it. slid old one out, slid new one in. however, replacement was not the same model as the original.
