To determine which switch was bad, I removed all three switches from microwave. I used a D-cell battery taping two pieces of wire to the POS and NEG ends. Tape the POS end of wire to a flashlight bulb's bottom tip. Tape or twist the NEG end to the bottom of the switch. Connect another piece of wire to the top of switch and touch the si ... Read more de of the flashlight bulb with the other end of the wire; the bulb should come on. Depress the red button on the switch and the light should go out. The switch is good if this occurs. If light does not come on or the bulb does not got out once the red button is depressed, the switch is bad. Now you have determined which switch to order for replacement.

Separated the two elements on the front door. Then inserted the new handle and reconnected the front door. It was an easy installation.

I bought the door assembly online while in Afghanistan. My wife who has no mechanical ability installed the door in less than 15 min. Open the microwave door.
On the interior of the door, there is a plastic molding around the locks and most outer part of the door. Pop that with a flathead screwdriver or butter knife. You’ll immediately see two screw heads. It was simple, just used a flathead screwdriver for a little leverage at the top hinge and it slid right on.

I took off the keypad panel,then plugged it back in,turned it on for 2 seconds so I can see where the spark was comming from,saw it was the capacitor, unpluged it while it was on so the voltage would drain,took out the capacitor ordered it a few days later,put it back in, now the wife is happy,and when she is happy,I'm happy :-)

I gently lifted with a screwdriver the inside plastic encasing on the side of the hinges, without removing the encasing completely. Had to do this to be able to lift door up and onto the upper hinge. Placed the door into position by gently moving it towards the wide-open position.

Used plastic putty knife to separate inside door plastic molding from metal door frame. Small section at a time starting from latch area. Worked the knife around door to separate plastic molding. Leave plastic intact near door hinges. Carefully separate out of the way the molding, and access Phillip screws with long screw driver. Rep ... Read more lace handle and screw tight the screws. My model had a cover on the interior trim around the glass that when removed allowed the door to lift off. The new one did not.

I removed the interior trim and swapped them. You can probably remove the trim to remove or install the new door. Reinstall the trim when the door is on.

First called for a repairman. They didn't work on any thing over ten years old because "parts are not available". They would look at it for $86.00 service call. I found a video on You Tube that gave a good description of the problem and how to repair.

Read more then removed the Stirrer cover and stirrer in top of oven where I discovered that the stirrer had been arcing to the cabinet. Easy fix. I sanded down the damaged area to clean metal then repainted with microwave paint. I installed new stirrer Part Number PS2343147 and replaced Stirrer Fan Cover. Microwave works like new.

This is an OTR microwave oven, needs to be removed to diagnose problem. With my multimeter I began to test, fuses(2), interlock switches(3)and transformer. 3 interlock switches were ok, fuses were fine, and had power to the transformer, meter could not read output of transformer because of high voltage, (2300v). I'm down to magnetron (about a hundred bucks) or the touch pad/ circuit board. I have a countertop micro that I'm putting in place of the OTR. As far as Partselect, my item was shipped and delivered on time, instructions for changing that part was quite accurate. Would order from here again, just do my homework first.

Pried off the inner molding around the door to access screws. Attached new handle. reattached molding. Very easy

I removed the cover and was able to see the burned up transformer. I removed the transformer and did a yahoo search for the part. I found you guys and ordered the part. the part arrived as advertised and I installed it. The microwave has been working now for 2 weeks. One word of advice make sure to use masking tape and mark the wire hooku ... Read more p locations. I used my Blackberry movie as well before I removed the old transformer. I was able to see the wire hookup locations when it was time to reinstall.
