This freezer has many screws that hold the cover on the back of the door and assist clamping the edge of the gasket in place. I put it in my dryer for 10 minutes. Remove the old gasket, and start at the top of the door to replace the gasket. TIPS: If the screws are backed out enough, there should not be any problem sliding the back part of the gasket under the cover. When on the sides, do not pull the gasket down to make it easier to slide the gasket underneath the cover. This will distort and lengthen the gasket so it will not fit and thin it out so it will not function well. Once the gasket is in place, tighten the screws being sure to feel along the outside edge of the gasket for any bulging that would indicate that portion of the gasket is NOT under the cover properly.

The repair was as easy as removing three phillip head screws for each slide rail and removing and replacing the broken slide rail. Turned freezer off at themostat and unplugged freezer. Removed 2 screws at front 2 at the back and 2 at the top. Lowered top cover and removed evaporator fan bracket (2 more screws) removed themostat capulary tube( 1 screw and bracket) then unplug fan motor. Removed motor from bracket (2 screws). Remounted top cover, plugged freezer in the set the thermostat to 4 and freezer is working fine and doing its job. 1. Turned off and unplugged the refrigerator.
2. Removed the lower back panel inside the freezer with a screwdriver.
3. Unplugged the thermostat. (No tool is needed)
4. Ordered a new thermostat from PartSelect and it arrived in 2 business days.

Removed the numerous screws and took the door panel off. Cleaned and dried it. Replaced the insulation and hung the penal with 2 screws at the top and sides. took the shelves out, unscrewed the rear panel,unpluged the thermistat and uncliped it from the line.Replaced with new thermistat in the reverse order. Purchased new freezer.

I removed the back cover and removed the clip holding the compressor- run capacitor and start relay. I replaced these 2 components and clean the dust from the frig., and from the bottom of the floor. I replaced the back cover ; Loss about $300 worth of meat when when the frig. failed. Then I thought that, during these turbulent times, ... Remove door remove old gasket, put new seal in dryer for 10 minutes to help it shape better then install new gasket with about 50 screws

Removed evap cover from Commercial Refrigerator. Removed mounting screws from Evap motor mount. Replaced evap fan motor. Repositioned. Reinstalled evap cover. Tested . This motor was hard to find locally. Glad I called.

Layed the seal out in the driveway in the sun to warm it up. Unscrewed the screws, not all the way. Removed old seal. Stared at the top corner, working our way around, making sure corners lined up. Don't pull on the seal or you will stretch it. Once it's applied and all corners are lined up, tighten crews down lightly. The seal mediately ... Took out screws completely then had to wedge gasket underneath. Gasket comes a little tangled in box should remove immediately and keep at room temp till ready to use.

I followed the video. It’s not that it’s a bit difficult, it’s just going slowly and carefully.
The thing that I didn’t allow the 24 hours for the gasket to relax after leaving the box. Also, I forgot to heat the gasket and put a small layer of Vaseline.
So the next day I noticed the the gasket wasn’t seating properly and went ... Read more back to the video and carefully followed the steps to gently heat it with a hair dryer and Vaseline. The gentle heat let the gasket properly relax and seat. The Vaseline helped created a small vacuum to complete the gaskets “training” to seal properly.
24 hours later it was beautiful and the freezer was working like new.
Parts Select was great to deal with.

Removed evaporator cover, unplug 2 wires to thermostat, unclipped it from the coil. Installed new themostat back the same way.
