This O-ring is a genuine OEM replacement part designed for use in a variety of power tools. It is a rubber seal used to prevent pressure loss, as well as oil, fuel, and air leakage from the fuel hose. It can be found on either end of the hose. You will need to replace this ring if it has lost elasticity, or if it is cracked or deformed. The O-ring can fail due to age, exposure to heat and chemicals, pressure buildup, or poor installation. A faulty ring will result in leakages, pressure loss, and decreased equipment performance. Carefully pry the old O-ring off the hose. Remove any dirt or debris in the area and lubricate the new ring before placing it in position. Apply light pressure to the ring until it is secure and sitting snugly. Note that your equipment may have several O-rings, therefore, inspect all of them as each ring is sold individually.

This spring provides tension and recoil action, by assisting the recoil starter mechanism and enabling the starter pawl to engage and disengage effectively during engine startup. If you are having trouble starting the engine and the spring shows signs of breaks, stretching, or distortion, it needs to be replaced. Failing to replace the broken spring can render your machine unusable if it cannot start. To remove the spring, you will need a screwdriver and a pair of pliers. Consult your user guide for specific instructions on accessing the spring by detaching the starter cover and the starter pulley assembly. Remember to remove the spark plug before taking out the starter pawl. Unhook the spring from the starter pawl bridge carefully. Please note that this spring is sold individually.
